With the recent heatwave alerts in Karachi, we know many of you are concerned about outdoor activities. At Jawaan Champions, we believe physical literacy is a journey- and that journey starts with staying safe.

If you are coaching, training, or playing this week, please keep these essential safety tips in mind. We’ve broken them down so they are easy to save and share with your teams.

Most importantly: If it feels too hot to play, it is. There is no game more important than a child’s health.

If you have any additional tips or best practices please share them in the comments below so our wider community can benefit from it.

Let's beat the heat!

With the completion of our final batches, we’ve officially wrapped up Teacher's Training 2026 for the Sehat & Soul initiative. 🏁

Over the last few weeks, we’ve worked with educators from across different schools, all with one common goal: making the playground an inclusive space for every student. Seeing the commitment from these teachers- from mastering modified games for small spaces to getting comfortable with our data tracking- has been incredible.

The real work begins now. We can’t wait to see these educators take these tools back to their classrooms and start making an impact on their students’ well-being.

A huge thank you to The British Asian Trust and UEFA Foundation for Children for making this possible.

On to the implementation phase! 🤝

“Jawaan Champions is a game changer”

Traditional sports need big fields, but our students don’t always have those. That’s why Jawaan Champions is bringing the “Modified Sports” framework to schools that need it the most.

Check out this snippet from our recent morning show interview with G Utha Pakistan where our team expands on the vision and working of the Jawaan Champions initiative. Its an honest look on how we’re making mindful movement a permanent part of our schools.

Each time we share our story, we’re making a case for the next generation. And these conversations turn a mission into a collective goal, proving that movement is a right, not a privilege.

Day 2 of our Teacher Training 2026 was all about the "How." Every school we work with is different- some have open fields, and others have very limited courtyard space.

We spent the day on the field practicing the mechanics: breaking down lesson plans and showing how games can be modified to fit whatever space a teacher has available. It’s one thing to talk about inclusion in theory, but seeing these educators figure out how to adapt a drill so that no student is left out is where the real work happens.

Practical, grounded, and ready to be taken back to the classroom. ⚽️

Teacher Training 2026: Day 1

We’ve started our first round of training for the year with a new group of schools under the Sehat & Soul initiative, supported by The British Asian Trust and UEFA foundation for children 🤝

Day 1 is about shifting the mindset. We aren’t just teaching sports drills; we’re showing teachers how to use a PE session to teach resilience and emotional regulation. We spent the day walking through the actual mechanics, from modifying games to fit small school spaces, to explaining our microsite for tracking impact.

It’s about making the playground a safe space where every child, regardless of their background or resources, feels included.

Busy week ahead, but seeing these teachers ready to get to work makes it worth it!

Health is a right, not a luxury.

At Jawaan Champions, we don't just "play games." Every modified match and every drill is a deliberate step toward a healthier future for our youth.

In schools where space is limited, our science-backed curriculum turns every corner into a stadium for growth. We’re building:

✅ Physical Vitality: Improving heart health and stamina through high-energy movement.
✅ Mental Sharpness: Using coordination drills to boost classroom focus and cognitive agility.
✅ Social Resilience: Teaching teamwork and stress management through the power of play.

This World Health Day, we stand with science to prove that Physical Education is the most powerful tool we have for a child’s wellbeing.
