Sindh Universities Officers' Federation (SUOF) Elects New Executive Body for 2026–2028
The General Body Meeting of the Sindh Universities Officers' Federation (SUOF) was held today at the Foreign Faculty Hostel, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, with active participation from officers representing public sector universities across Sindh. During the meeting, the election of the Executive Body and Executive Committee for the term 2026–2028 was successfully conducted.
The election process was supervised by the Election Committee comprising Dr. Faisal Hashmi as Election Commissioner, along with Nusrat Ali Chandio and Mushtaq Muhammad Gopang as members. The elections were conducted transparently in accordance with the SUOF Constitution.
The newly elected Executive Body is as follows:
Syed Sajjad Hussain Shah – Chairman (University of Sindh)
Abdul Waheed Jatoi – Senior Vice Chairman (SMI University)
Mussawar Hussain Bhutto – Vice Chairman (University of Larkano)
Dr. Danish – Secretary General (NED University)
Zubair Azmi – Joint Secretary (University of Karachi)
Imdad Ali Bhughio– Finance Secretary (Mehran University of Engineering & Technology)
Atta Muhammad Chopan – Information/Press Secretary (University of Sufism and Modern Sciences, Bhitshah)

The participants congratulated the newly elected leadership and expressed confidence that the Executive Body would work collectively to safeguard the rights and welfare of university officers, strengthen inter-university coordination, and promote professional development across public sector universities in Sindh.
The newly elected office bearers thanked all member universities for their trust and pledged to serve the federation with dedication, transparency, and unity.
