We are pleased to announce that the President of the Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Korangi (Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Korangi (WCCIK)), Ms. Shabista Bakhtiar has been appointed as the Focal Person for liaison between the Police and the Business Community by the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI)) in coordination with the office of the Inspector General, Sindh Police (Sindh Police (IG Sindh Office).

This appointment reflects a significant step towards strengthening collaboration between law enforcement institutions and the business community, under the leadership of BMPP and our Sr Vice President, Mr. Saqib Fayyaz Magoon along with the vision of our Founder and Patron in Chief Sahibzadi Mahin Khan . This step is taken, to improve communication, address key concerns, and support a safer and more conducive environment for trade and industry.

WCCIK extends its best wishes and confidence in her leadership in this important role.

Last week in Alexandria, we met with our WiB partners to present and discuss our ongoing activities.

It was also a special moment as we had the pleasure of meeting our new partners from Kenya, Nigeria, and Pakistan, and officially integrating them into the WiB Network.

Sahibzadi Mahin Khan, Founder President and Patron in Chief of Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Korangi Karachi (WCCIK), proudly represents Pakistan on this global platform, marking an important milestone led by Women in Business (WiB), which has brought together three strong institutions across regions onto its platform.

Through the signing of this partnership agreement in Egypt with Women in Business (WiB), we now have access to connect, collaborate, and build meaningful linkages with the wider WiB network, representing over 8,500 businesswomen across 12 countries and 13 member associations, creating new pathways for growth and opportunity.

As WCCIK, we see this as just the beginning of a powerful journey for our women entrepreneurs, one that will enable greater exposure, partnerships, and cross-border opportunities.

Together with the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs in Kenya (FOWEK) and Women Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines & Agriculture (WCCIMA) Nigeria, and the wider associations on this platform, we look forward to translating this partnership into real impact through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and shared success.

Sahibzadi Mahin Khan , attended the APO International Workshop on Human Capital Management in SMEs as a member of the Board of Directors, along with Shabista Bakhtiar, President WCCIK.

The workshop focused on strengthening organizational capacity, enhancing workforce development, and exploring sustainable growth strategies for small and medium enterprises. Through interactive sessions and international knowledge exchange, participants gained insights into building resilient, future-ready businesses.
