Patient Protection Society, in collaboration with Usman Institute of Technology (UIT), is organizing a special Breast Cancer Awareness Session to promote awareness, education, and understanding about breast cancer.

The session will feature an Awareness Talk and an Interactive Q&A, providing participants with an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and engage in meaningful discussions with health advocates.

🏥 Patient Protection Society Burns Center Visit

A Meaningful Step Towards Better Patient Care ❤️

The Patient Protection Society (PPS) team successfully visited the Burns Center, Civil Hospital Karachi, where we met with patients and healthcare staff and observed the available facilities and services.

The visit focused on understanding the challenges faced by burn patients, identifying areas where additional support may be needed, and exploring meaningful ways to contribute towards improved patient care.

Livelihood support provided by the Patient Protection Society to Gabbar Bhai in Khuda ki Basti Surjani Town, Karachi, under the Community Development initiative. Providing a food cart to a low-income individual is a sustainable initiative that empowers them to earn a livelihood with dignity. Instead of providing temporary financial aid, this support enables the person to generate income daily by selling food items of their choice, such as tea, snacks, or home-cooked meals. Such small-scale livelihood support contributes directly to poverty reduction and helps build resilience among vulnerable communities. You can also contribute to such a worthy cause.

The Social Work Department at Karachi University, in collaboration with the Patient Protection Society and other partners, successfully hosted a Breast Cancer Awareness and Poster Exhibition. The event drew over 100 attendees and featured diverse posters covering educational, research, survivor stories, and creative categories. Keynote speakers emphasized early detection and addressed screening barriers. The exhibition fostered collaboration among students, faculty, health professionals, and community members to raise awareness about prevention, early detection, treatment, and support for breast cancer.

The Social Work Department at Karachi University hosted a highly successful Breast Cancer Awareness and Poster Exhibition organized by the Patient Protection Society in collaboration with partner organizations. The event attracted over 100 attendees from the university and the city. Numerous posters were displayed across categories such as educational, research, survivor stories, and creative works. Keynote speakers highlighted the importance of early detection and discussed barriers to screening in local communities.
The event brought together students, faculty, health professionals, and community members to promote awareness about breast cancer prevention, early detection, treatment options, and survivor support. The poster exhibition featured student research, infographics, survivor stories, public health messages, and artistic responses to the topic.
