کراچی (1 جون 2025):
پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی مینارٹی ونگ PS-124 یونین کونسل 9 کورنگی کی جانب سے آج بروز اتوار ایک عظیم الشان افتتاحی تقریب کا انعقاد کیا گیا، جس میں پارٹی آفس کا باقاعدہ افتتاح کیا گیا۔ یہ تقریب عوام کی بڑی تعداد میں شرکت کے باعث ایک عوامی جلسے کی شکل اختیار کر گئی۔

تقریب میں پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی مینارٹی ونگ کراچی ڈویژن کے صدر مشتاق مٹو، پیپلز پارٹی ضلع کورنگی کے صدر جانی میمن، سینئر نائب صدر شیراز وحید، ضلع انفارمیشن سیکریٹری آصف رضا، ٹاؤن چیئرمین نعیم شیخ، PS-124 کے صدر ڈاکٹر طاہر خان اور دیگر اہم قائدین نے خصوصی شرکت کی اور خطاب کیا۔

اس موقع پر پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی مینارٹی ونگ ضلع کورنگی کے صدر رزاق تاج، انفارمیشن سیکریٹری آفتاب مشتاق مٹو، پروگرام آرگنائزر حنیف بھائی، سلویسٹر، داؤد، ایزک سمیت پارٹی کارکنان اور عوام کی بڑی تعداد موجود تھی جنہوں نے پارٹی قیادت سے اظہارِ یکجہتی کرتے ہوئے تقریب کو بھرپور کامیابی سے ہمکنار کیا۔

قائدین نے اپنے خطابات میں پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی کی اقلیتوں کے لیے خدمات اور وژن پر روشنی ڈالی اور کہا کہ پارٹی ہمیشہ اقلیتوں کے حقوق کی محافظ رہی ہے۔ شرکاء نے نعرے لگا کر ماحول کو جوش و خروش سے بھر دیا۔

K-Electric, Karachi’s main electricity provider, announced a scheduled power shutdown on 48 out of its 2,100 feeders in the city on May 23, 2025, for maintenance work on transformers in various areas.

According to KE, the maintenance work will take place between 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM in different locations and times, causing temporary power outages, which will likely disrupt the daily activities of the residents.

The residents will be expected to face a maximum of 10 hours and a minimum of 8 hours of load shedding in different areas.

The Sindh government has announced summer holidays for all schools and colleges in the province, effective from June 1 to July 31.

A notification issued by the Sindh Education Department confirmed that summer holidays will be observed across all educational institutions during this period.

A day earlier, the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government announced the summer vacation schedule for both government and private schools across the province.

📸 Glimpses from the Seminar on “Sustainable Ecosystem for Women Entrepreneurs held under European Union in Pakistan funded GRASP, the seminar brought together key stakeholders to promote an enabling environment for women led SMEs.

🎤 The event was graced by Mr. Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Division, Pakistan as Chief Guest, Mr. Sarfaraz Rajar, Special Assistant to the CM Sindh for Social Protection, Tanzila Ume Habiba Special Assistant to CM Sindh, Women Parliamentary Caucus as the Guest of Honours.

✨ Distinguished representatives from the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, Planning & Development Department, Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry, National Incubation Centre, Mobilink Microfinance Bank, Pakistan Single Window, and others participated in the discussion.
