We Live By Faith, Not By Sight. The objectives and goals of our organization are to remove the present social barriers and create an inclusive society.

The Blind Resource Foundation Pakistan (BRFP) is a registered non-government organization (NGO), which was established on 7th of August, 2015 with a purpose to help the blind through providing them with sufficient resources, and proper guidance so that they can move forward in life, and become successful in whatever field or career they choose. We hope to create such a society where the negative metaphors and signifiers are eliminated that misrepresent a blind individual’s image in the society. We plan to do this through the promotion of assistive technology and other necessary resources that can diminish their disability, and help them live their life independently. We aim to establish a system where disabled individuals are encouraged, and rehabilitated, a system which is similar to the ones formed especially for such individuals in countries other than Pakistan. Our motive is to replace the word ‘Disable’ with ‘Capable’.

Every child deserves the chance to connect with the words of the Quran — regardless of the challenges they face.

Blind Resource Foundation Pakistan is providing free Braille Qurans to visually impaired individuals across Pakistan, along with the training to read them — so that every deserving person can build their own connection with the Quran, independently and with dignity.

This International Literacy Day, we honor every visually impaired child and adult pursuing knowledge despite daily challenges, and everyone working to make this mission possible.

Knowledge is a right for everyone — without exception.

100+ Braille Qur’ans Delivered📖🤍

A Braille Qur’an initiative between Al Fitrah Foundation and the Blind Resource Foundation Pakistan (BRFP), which began in March 2026, has now reached more than 100 visually impaired readers across Pakistan. Alhamdulillah.

Through the dedication of Maulana Waqar and his team, the Qur’ans were distributed at the BRFP office, by post, and during visits to schools, institutions, and communities nationwide. 🦯🕌

BRF Pakistan Founder, Mr. Waqar Younas, was invited as a guest to Noor-ul-Ain School for the Blind, where he spent a memorable day with the students.

Three books, Fazail-e-Durood Sharif, Pyaare Nabi ﷺ Ke Pyaare Naam, and Asma-ul-Husna, were distributed among the children. Assistive devices were also presented during the visit.

A meaningful gathering dedicated to faith, learning, inclusion, and community care.
