Primary goal of PMI is to advance the practice, science and profession of project management throughout the world in a conscientious and proactive manner. The PMI Karachi Pakistan Chapter is recognized as a dynamic organization dedicated to bring awareness for Project Management Professionalism and serving the needs of professionals desirous of PMP-Certification, learning and adapting PM-knowledge, skills, tools and techniques and at large serving the business, industry, government and educational communities in Pakistan through the advancement of Project Management.

The formal program ends. The conversations don’t.

Ideas discussed during a session often become more meaningful when people continue them afterwards, over introductions, informal conversations and exchanges between professionals who may otherwise never have crossed paths.

That is the community we continue to build at PMI Karachi Pakistan Chapter: one where learning creates conversation, and conversation creates connection.

As we celebrate 20 years of PMI Karachi Chapter, it is these relationships built and strengthened over time that remain an important part of our journey.

The conversation may begin on stage, but connection happens everywhere.

Beyond the discussion at 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗼𝘅, the evening brought together professionals from across our community, reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting new ones and exchanging experiences beyond the formal program.

These interactions are an important part of what PMI Karachi Chapter continues to create: a space where professional relationships grow alongside professional learning.

As PMI Karachi Pakistan Chapter’s 229th Monthly Seminar drew towards its close, President Shuja Khan shared his Vote of Thanks, reflecting on the evening and acknowledging the people who made it possible.

From our distinguished panelists and moderators to our members, guests, volunteers and Chapter leadership, the evening was a collective effort built around one purpose: creating meaningful conversations for our professional community.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗛𝗮𝗱 𝗮 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗼

Sometimes, the most valuable perspective comes from the other side of the stage.

As The Strategy Paradox unfolded, our community brought its own experiences into the discussion, adding perspectives from different industries, functions and levels of leadership.

Questions became conversations.
Experiences challenged assumptions.
And at times, the room challenged the stage.

That was exactly the intent behind OPEN MIC: not an audience waiting for its turn to speak, but a room actively contributing to the conversation.

The most interesting conversations begin when different perspectives stop agreeing.

At The Strategy Paradox, the discussion moved beyond individual functional viewpoints into the spaces where organizational decisions become difficult.

When does caution protect the organization and when does it hold it back?

How do we balance the value of automation with its impact on people?

And when Finance, People, Technology and Governance are each acting rationally within their own mandates, who ensures the collective decision still serves the enterprise?

Moderated by Fahad Ahmed,Executive Vice President, PMI Karachi Pakistan Chapter, the conversation moved across these different lenses, challenging assumptions, exploring trade-offs and allowing perspectives to meet rather than simply coexist.

That was the spirit of our OPEN MIC: not searching for one perfect answer, but creating space for different perspectives to challenge one another.
