𝐈𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐎 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 – 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, 𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐤𝐡𝐚𝐬

Rotary International President Larry Lunsford, alongside PRID Muhammad Faiz Kidwai, Past Trustee Aziz Memon, District Governor Shahzad Sabir District Governor-Elect Fahad Sikandar, DGN Engr. Abdul Jabbar Shaikh DG 2028-29 Rotary-3271, and fellow Rotary leaders, inaugurated the Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Filtration Plant at Public School, Mirpurkhas.
The plant will provide clean and safe drinking water to students, teachers, school staff, and visitors, ensuring a healthier learning environment and supporting the well-being of future generations through Rotary's commitment to sustainable community service.
This landmark Clean Water initiative was made possible through the generous support of Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Karachi. Special appreciation goes to Naila Masood, Past President, Rotary Club of Karachi, and Past Trustee Aziz Memon, National Chair – PolioPlus Committee, for their leadership and commitment to this impactful project. We also acknowledge the dedicated efforts of Asher Ali, WASH Ambassador Pakistan, and Rtn. Dr. Farhan Malik, Member – WASH Committee, whose project ex*****on and coordination helped turn this vision into a sustainable reality for the students and faculty of Public School, Mirpurkhas.

Following the inauguration of the RO Water Filtration Plant at Public School, Mirpurkhas, Rotary International President Larry Lunsford planted a commemorative tree, followed by the district leadership, symbolizing Rotary's shared commitment to environmental sustainability and a greener future. Each tree planted represents hope, growth, and our collective responsibility to leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
Together, we continue to create lasting impact—not only by improving lives today but also by protecting our environment for tomorrow.

Visit to Rotary Club of Karachi PN Model School
At the special invitation of Humayun Qureshi, President, Rotary Club of Karachi, Rotary International President Larry Lunsford accompanied by RI Trustee Aziz Memon, District Governor Rtn. Shahzad Sabir , District Governor-Elect Fahad Sikandar, and fellow Rotary leaders, visited the Rotary Club of Karachi PN Model School to witness Rotary's continued commitment to education and youth development.
The visit provided an opportunity to interact with students, appreciate the school's educational initiatives, and reaffirm Rotary's dedication to empowering future generations through quality education and sustainable community service.

Courtesy Call on the Honorable Chief Minister of Sindh

It was a privilege to accompany Rotary International President Larry Lunsford during a courtesy call on the Honorable Chief Minister of Sindh.

The Rotary delegation comprised Past Rotary International Trustee Aziz Memon, the District Governor Shahzad Sabir , District Governor-Elect Fahd Sikander , District Governor-Nominee Engr. Abdul Jabbar Shaikh DG 2028-29 Rotary-3271 , and PDG Saleem Rao, reflecting Rotary’s united leadership and unwavering commitment to serving our communities.
A key focus of the meeting was reinforcing the partnership between the Government of Sindh and Rotary to strengthen Polio Supplemental National Immunization Days (SNIDs) and accelerate our collective efforts toward a polio-free Pakistan. We also discussed expanding collaboration in health, education, and community development to create sustainable, lasting impact.
We are grateful to the Honorable Chief Minister for his warm welcome, encouragement, and continued support of Rotary’s humanitarian initiatives.

It was a privilege to join Rotary International President , RI Trustee Aziz Memon, fellow Rotary leaders, and community representatives for the inauguration of two RO Water Filtration Plants in Mirpurkhas.

Installed at Public School Mirpurkhas and Mirpurkhas Railway Station, each 5,000-gallon plant will provide clean and safe drinking water to students, commuters, worshippers, and the wider community.

The project was undertaken by the Rotary Club of Karachi with the support of OGDCL and hosted by the Rotary Club of Mirpurkhas. The visit also included a Flag Hoisting Ceremony and Tree Plantation Drive, reflecting Rotary’s commitment to sustainable service and community development.

Memon Medical Institute Hospital had the distinct honor of welcoming Rotary International Director Jennifer Scott during her visit on July 7, 2026. The visit took place under the leadership of Shahzad Sabir, DG 2026-27, RID 3271 Pakistan, accompanied by Dr. Mildred Vitangcol, distinguished Rotary leader from the Philippines, Aide PDG Dr. Aftab Imam, and other esteemed Rotary leaders and dignitaries.

The distinguished delegation also included PP Shoaib Ismail Mangroria, Dr. Shumaila Omer, Mr. Omer Dadi, Dr. Altaf Madraswala, Dr. Naveed Manzoor, Ms. Durdana Arshad, and Mr. Aslam Khan.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by the CEO of Memon Medical Institute Hospital, Brigadier Dr. Malik Waqar Ahmad Awan, TI(M) (Retd.), who personally accompanied the guests on a comprehensive tour of the hospital and its facilities.

During the visit, RI Director Jennifer Scott, District Governor Shahzad Sabir, and the distinguished delegation reviewed the progress and impact of Rotary-supported healthcare initiatives at MMI Hospital. The delegation conducted a thorough physical verification of the equipment procured through Rotary grant funding and appreciated the transparent, responsible, and impactful utilization of the funds.

RI Director Jennifer Scott and District Governor Shahzad Sabir commended MMI Hospital’s state-of-the-art infrastructure, professional standards, and commitment to delivering quality healthcare services. The visiting Rotary leaders shared encouraging reflections on the hospital’s progress and reaffirmed Rotary’s commitment to supporting meaningful and sustainable healthcare initiatives that create lasting impact in the community.

The visit highlighted the strong partnership between Rotary International District 3271 and Memon Medical Institute Hospital and their shared commitment to advancing accessible, high-quality healthcare through collaboration, transparency, and service.
