Our Stray Paws 🐾 is not a shelter — it’s compassion & a small effort of love.

We feed, care, spay/neuter & support stray cats and dogs in my area with the help of kind donors 🙌✨

📢 Our Stray Paws | July 2026 Donation Update 🐾

Sharing the donation receipts and fund transfers made for the rescued dogs, along with monthly videos of them, so you can see that they are still under my care and being looked after. 🐶🐱🤍

💰 Total Donations Received: Rs. 17,163

🐾 Monthly Expenses

🐶 Dogs – Approx. Rs. 39,000–45,000/month
• Caretaker: Rs. 15,000
• Food: Approx. Rs. 6,000/week × 4 = Rs. 24,000
• Shampoo, cleaning supplies & other essentials are also provided as needed.
• Rent is currently adjusted against the construction expenses and will resume later.

🐱 Stray Cats – Approx. Rs. 45,000–60,000/month
• Food + litter: Approx. Rs. 1,500–2,000/day
• Caring for around 12–15 stray cats.

Medical expenses are not included.

🤍 The donations received this month are not even enough to cover the dogs' monthly expenses, while the expenses for the stray cats are separate. With the rising cost of food and other essentials, caring for these animals is becoming increasingly difficult.

Through Simba’s Pet Care, I try my best to manage the expenses of my own cats and support the stray cats and dogs under my care as well. Despite these efforts, the expenses often exceed what I can manage, and I still end up relying on credit to keep everything going.

I am truly grateful to everyone who continues to support Our Stray Paws through regular monthly contributions. Your support means a lot and helps me continue caring for these innocent souls. With rising expenses, continued support is becoming more important than ever. 🐾🤍

Ginger — A Tiny Life We Tried Our Best to Save 🐾
On 23rd August 2026, I found this tiny kitten outside our home in a critical condition. He was extremely weak, heavily infested with fleas, unable to smell his food, and unable to eat on his own, so I had to syringe-feed him. That same evening, I started his care at home with eye drops and ointment.

On 24th August, I took him to the hospital, where he received treatment and antibiotics for three days. The vet also dewormed him and gave me deworming medicine to continue at home as advised. I named him Ginger, and he soon started responding to his name. ❤️

He showed good improvement for a while. I continued his treatment and nebulization at home, hoping he would make it.
But on 1st September, his condition suddenly started deteriorating again. He stopped responding to food, and I had to start syringe-feeding him once more.
I took him back to the vet on 2nd September, where his antibiotics were restarted. On 3rd September, I continued his medication and syringe-feeding at home, hoping he would fight through.

All of Ginger’s treatment and care expenses were managed by me without any donation until I shared an update seeking help for his further treatment. A kind donor then came forward and donated towards Ginger’s medical expenses. Sadly, despite receiving the donation and continuing his treatment, Ginger’s condition did not improve, and after Maghrib on 3rd September 2026, Ginger passed away. 💔

I wish I could have saved him.
He was with us for only a short time, but he was loved, cared for, and fought for until the very end. He was not just a stray kitten anymore — he was Ginger. ❤️

I am sharing all hospital bills, medicine and treatment expenses, transportation costs, the donor’s bank transfer proof, and the donation receipt for complete transparency.
Sadly, we lost Ginger despite every effort.
Rest peacefully, little one. You deserved more time. 🕊️🤍

First of all, a big thank you to everyone who supported Our Stray Paws Cause in September. 🤍
Your kindness truly helps me continue feeding and caring for the stray cats and dogs under my care.

💰 Total Donations Received: Rs. 7,370
🐾 Monthly Expenses: Rs. 103,000 (excluding medical costs)

I know I don’t have a proper shelter, and I’m not taking care of hundreds of animals like some others — but I’m giving my best, doing everything I can for the few stray souls who depends on me. 💔
Every day, I make sure they have food, water, and love — but it’s getting harder to manage alone. Even with my own income, I end up going into credit each month just to make sure they don’t sleep hungry.

That’s why I truly need your help. 🙏
Even a small monthly contribution can make a big difference for these innocent lives.
