کراچی میں انسداد پولیو مہم 6 جولائی سے شروع ہوگی جو ایک ہفتہ جاری رہے گی۔ مہم کی تیاریوں کا جائزہ لینے کے لیے کمشنر کراچی سید حسن نقوی کی زیر صدارت اجلاس منعقد ہوا۔اجلاس میں بریفنگ کے دوران بتایا گیا کہ انسداد پولیو مہم کے دوران کراچی بھر میں 25 لاکھ بچوں کو پولیو سے بچاؤ کے قطرے پلانے کا ہدف مقرر کیا گیا ہے۔ بریفنگ میں بتایا گیا کہ مہم کی کامیابی کے لیے مجموعی طور پر 26 ہزار پولیو ورکرز فرائض انجام دیں گے جب کہ ان کی سیکیورٹی یقینی بنانے کے لیے 7 ہزار سکیورٹی اہلکار بھی تعینات کیے جائیں گے۔ اس موقع پر کمشنر کراچی سید حسن نقوی نے تمام ڈپٹی کمشنرز کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ رہ جانے والے اور پولیو کے قطرے پلانے سے انکار کرنے والے بچوں پر خصوصی توجہ دیں۔

Objective
A community engagement session was held at Abdul Majeed Guest House Ghazi Goth on 04 April 26 The focus was on the upcoming OPV campaign, RI vaccination, and the importance of routine immunization.

Discussion
The session started with the recitation of the Holy Quran,
I shared the objectives and briefed participants on current Globel Polio Cases and environmental samples in Karachi.

Discussed about 12 vaccine preventable diseases, the way polio spreads, and local challenges in GHAZI GOTH also brief the importance of the polio vaccination and shared the upcoming polio campaign will start on 13 April 2026, requesting full support for PEI teams in their respective streets.

Question & Answer
Participants raised their Concern's about vaccination safety, the spread of the polio virus, and the April Opv campaign. We responded in detail to each question, which helped clarify doubts and strengthen confidence in the vaccination programs.
