Citizen Development Organization (CDO) is a well known Community-based Organization working for human development through developing projects in multiple sectors including education, water, health, hygiene, shelter, agriculture, micro-credit enterprises and environment management for sustainable development in the poverty-stricken areas to protect the rights of most vulnerable classes of society e
specially women and children. The CDO is a non-governmental, non-political and non-religious organization registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Registration and Control Ordinance 1961 (XIVI of 1996) of Government of Sindh under Registration No. DO/ SW/ CD (JCD)/ VA-74 of 2006 dated 12 Dec 2006. CDO encourages the efforts for the wellbeing of women, children, labourers, tenant farmers, and prisoners as well, of the northern parts of Sindh province with community-based initiatives by mobilizing, promoting and protecting their basic rights.
