SHIFA Welfare Association (SHIFA) — a youth-based, women-led non-profit working across Sindh & Balochistan to empower marginalized communities through humanitarian aid, social inclusion, child protection, women’s rights, and sustainable development. SHIFA Initiative and contributes to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) focused on seven -7 SDG’s 1,2,4,5, 8, 13, 16 to create demands for its imple

mentation. SHIFA humanizes youth to take actions for proper implementation of SDGs and empower marginalized people especially, older people, Children, women and socially excluded groups like Trans , Minorities ,ethnic Minorities to collectively raise their voice against the root causes of poverty, inequality, gender based injustices and climate change.

Eid Gatherings | Unity & Community Spirit in Jacobabad 🤝

This Eid, SHIFA Welfare Association had the honor of engaging in meaningful gatherings with the respected elected representatives, senior politicians, law enforcement officials, and dedicated social workers of Jacobabad.

We were privileged to meet and exchange warm Eid wishes with worthy Mir Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani (Member of National Assembly), Muhammad Mian Soomro, Mir Liaqat Khan Lashari, Mir Rafey Khan Jakhrani, Mir Shujah Panhwar, and Faizan Ahmed.

🌸 International Women’s Day 2k26 Celebrated in Jacobabad🌸
On the occasion of International Women's Day a special event was held at District Council Hall Jacobabad where women from different walks of life were recognized for their valuable services and contributions to society. The honorees were presented with shields and certificates in appreciation of their dedication and commitment.

The program was honored by the presence of worthy Deputy Commissioner Shehzad Shaee as the Chief Guest, along with Assistant commissioner Naveed Sandd Assistant commissioner Abu Bakar Sadhyo and Khairunisa Soomro.

SHIFA Welfare Association - SHIFA distributed Winterization Kits among the ethnic minority Hindu Scheduled Caste Bheel community, one of the most vulnerable and marginalized communities in the area.During a recent needs assessment, SHIFA’s team observed that community members were living without proper shelter, even during ongoing rainfall, exposing them to harsh weather conditions and serious risks. Recognizing the urgency of the situation and considering winterization support as a critical humanitarian need, SHIFA immediately responded by distributing Winterization Kits with the generous support of NEAR Change Funds.
This initiative reflects SHIFA’s continued commitment to humanitarian assistance, dignity, and inclusion of marginalized and at-risk communities.
