📍 Location: WORDS-Pakistan Head Office, Jaffarabad, Balochistan

📆 Contract Duration: 1 Year

💰 Salary: PKR 80,000 - 1,00,000 per month

We are seeking an experienced Senior Logistic and Finance Officer to oversee our logistics and finance operations. If you have a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and finance, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career!

Responsibilities:

✅ Plan, coordinate, and execute logistics operations.
✅ Manage inventory, procurement, storage, and distribution.
✅ Oversee transportation and warehouse operations.
✅ Develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
✅ Prepare financial reports and statements.
✅ Lead and manage logistics and finance teams.

Requirements:

🎓 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

WORDS-PAKISTAN Commemorates World TB Day in Jaffarabad

March 24, 2025: WORDS-PAKISTAN, in collaboration with the District Health Department under PPAF's project Restoring Social Services and Climate Resilience (RSS&CR), observed World TB Day today.

Dr. Muhammad Hayat Jamali, CEO of WORDS-PAKISTAN, said, "We are committed to raising awareness about TB and working towards a TB-free Pakistan."

"Our organization is dedicated to supporting the government's efforts to combat TB, and we believe that community engagement and awareness are crucial in this fight."

Dr. Ayaz Jamali, District Health Officer, appreciated WORDS-PAKISTAN's efforts in supporting the district's healthcare services.

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced consultant to conduct a (Situation Analysis, Challenges, Opportunities, and TVET Needs Assessment) in Jaffarabad, Balochistan.

Objective of the Consultancy:
The consultancy aims to:
• Assess the current Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) landscape in Jaffarabad.
• Identify challenges and opportunities for TVET development, with a focus on marginalized groups (women, youth, persons with disabilities).
• Provide evidence-based recommendations to improve TVET programs and align them with labor market needs.
• Support WORDS Pakistan in designing inclusive, demand-driven TVET initiatives.
Scope of Work:
The consultant will:
1. Review national and regional TVET policies and best practices.
2. Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the TVET ecosystem, including supply-demand gaps and labor market trends.
3. Engage with key stakeholders (government, employers, trainees, NGOs) through interviews and focus group discussions.
4. Develop a detailed report with actionable recommendations for sustainable TVET development.
Key Deliverables:
1. Draft and Final Reports, including an executive summary and policy brief.
2. PowerPoint presentation summarizing key findings and proposed interventions.

WORDS-PAKISTAN conducted a successful SBDRM training session at Govt Girls High School Gandakha, under the PPAF-funded project "Restoring Social Services and Climate Resilience Project (RSS&CR).

Trainer Farah Ahmad led the engaging session, which brought together students, volunteers, CRPs, and teachers in a dynamic learning experience. The training aimed to build capacity and promote climate resilience among young minds, equipping them with essential skills to navigate the challenges of climate change.
