Rural Organization for Socio-economic Sustainability (ROSES) is a non-for-profit organization which focuses the socio-economic, educational and cultural challenges of remote areas around Gilgit-Baltistan of Pakistan. ROSES was established in 2008 aims to promote socio-economic development of far-flung areas around GB which are mostly ignored by government agencies or other NGOs due to limited reso
urces or access issues. ROSES is extending its efforts through mobilization and sensitization of local communities regarding socio-economic development specifically by focusing the remote areas of Yasin valley through elementary education leading to quality education. In addition, Cultural preservation and promotion is the second most important objective of this organization where old customs, traditions, life style and dialectal related segments would be preserved.
