Founded in 1919, the International Labour Organization is a United Nations specialized agency headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. Good to see government, employers' & workers' organizations and development partners come together to discuss Business and Human Rights and Responsible Business Conduct in 🇵🇰.

Pakistan's National Action Plan on Business & Human Rights provides an important framework for ensuring that economic growth, competitiveness and respect for rights advance together.

Through the European Union in Pakistan-funded Huqooq-e-Pakistan Programme, implemented in partnership with
UNDP Pakistan, the ILO is supporting efforts to strengthen awareness, institutional capacity and stakeholder engagement on Business and Human Rights, helping ensure that respect for rights becomes embedded across workplaces, supply chains and business operations.
