Pakistan's 1st Women's Football Symposium 2026 brought together leaders, coaches, athletes, and development professionals around one question: how do we revive women's football in Pakistan and build it to last?
Right To Play's Country Director Ali Khayam was part of that conversation and shared his valuable insights on improving access of football, and sports in general, in Pakistan.
Pakistan Football Federation also presented its landmark Women's Football Strategy 2026–2030, a roadmap to expand girls' access to football from grassroots to national level.
Sport is one of the most powerful tools we have for child development. But for girls to truly benefit, they need more than just access to the game, they need safe spaces where they can play freely, grow confidently, and be seen as athletes. When we invest in that, we invest in Pakistan's future.
