Meeting # 714
Strength in numbers has never defined the spirit of a Toastmasters session. Although we began with a small group, the meeting quickly transformed into a vibrant and energetic gathering under the exceptional leadership of our Toastmaster of the Evening, Raja Hyder Ali. His enthusiasm, passion, and warm presence set a positive tone that kept every participant engaged throughout the session.

The theme of the meeting, “Small Steps, Big Impact,” beautifully captured the spirit of the session. It reminded us that even the smallest actions, taken with intention, can lead to significant and lasting change. Each speaker reflected on this idea through personal stories and meaningful experiences, creating an atmosphere filled with inspiration and positivity.

What made the session even more delightful was the participation of our new guests, who joined the activities with confidence and without any hesitation. Their openness and willingness to engage added an extra layer of joy to the meeting.

Overall, it was a cheerful, uplifting, and thoroughly enriching Toastmasters session—one that left everyone motivated and looking forward to the next gathering.

Yesterday, an another session—an another evening full of joyous moments—the meeting took an unexpected turn. For the very first time, things didn’t go according to the planned agenda because the Toastmaster of the Evening had an emergency situation.

Without hesitation, TM Bilal Jadoon stepped forward and gracefully took charge as the acting SAA, ensuring the meeting could begin without further delay. The role of Toastmaster of the Evening was quickly reassigned, and the new TME, Ikhlaq Ahmad, selected an engaging Theme of the Day—“Ideas Into Action.”

He brilliantly led the session with motivational stories and inspiring quotes. One of the most impactful moments was when he shared a profound line:
“Spring has passed, summer has gone, and winter is here. And the song I meant to sing remains unsung. I have spent my days stringing and unstringing my instrument.”
This powerful message reminded everyone of the urgency to act, create, and move forward before time slips away.

The Table Topics session became another highlight of the evening. Led by Bilal Jadoon, he skillfully posed theme-related questions to almost every attendee. The impromptu speeches brought laughter, reflection, and a wonderful display of spontaneous speaking skills.

Among the participants, the young and strong Toastmaster Saad stood out with his confidence and clarity, earning him the Best Table Topic Speaker Award.

The energy continued as Bilal Jadoon impressed everyone once again—not only with his leadership earlier in the meeting but also with his outstanding prepared speech—earning him the Best Speaker Award.

The meeting concluded on a celebratory note as Toastmaster Zafar Iqbal received the Best Evaluator Award, and Ikhlaq Ahmad was honored with the Big 3 Award for his exceptional contributions as Toastmaster of the Evening, inspiring the audience, and guiding the meeting seamlessly.

Despite the unexpected challenges, the meeting turned into a memorable example of teamwork, adaptability, and the true Toastmasters spirit.

Yesterday’s Toastmasters session was engaging and insightful, featuring a blend of knowledge, inspiration, and impromptu speaking.

Toastmaster of the Day, Nisar Ahmad, beautifully presented the theme “Stress Management”. He explained, with practical examples, how the mind and body interact and how we can effectively handle our emotions in daily life. His insightful and relatable approach earned him the Big Three Award 🏆

The impromptu speaking session was conducted by VP Education, Toastmaster Ikhlaq, and included participation from members, students of the institute, and guests.
Past President Muhammad Imran impressed everyone with his eloquent response, earning Best Table Topics Speaker 🏆

The meeting featured two captivating prepared speeches on distinct topics:
Zameer spoke on Artificial Intelligence, exploring its impact on industries and society.
Bilal Jadoon delivered a speech on Transformation, inspiring the audience to embrace personal growth and change.

The evaluations were constructive, helping speakers enhance their delivery and presentation skills.

The session highlighted that stress management is an essential skill, and understanding the mind-body-emotion connection can help us respond to challenges more effectively.

We also wish good luck to the newly inducted member of ICMAP, a young, passionate, and enthusiastic individual ready to contribute and learn through the Toastmasters journey.

The ICMAP Toastmasters Club held its Meeting #710 yesterday, delivering another session full of learning, inspiration, and vibrant energy. The theme of the meeting was “Emotional Intelligence”, emphasizing the importance of self-awareness, empathy, and effective communication in personal and professional life.

Toastmaster of the Day: TM Nisar Ahmad 🗣️, who led the session with confidence and insight, connecting each segment seamlessly to the theme.

Sergeant-at-Arms: TM Zafar Iqbal 🔹, ensured the meeting environment was organized and welcoming.

Club President: Ms. Zoha Ruman đź’Ľ, delivered an encouraging opening, warmly welcoming members and guests.

General Evaluator DTM Irfan Qureshi âś… expertly guided the evaluation session, highlighting key takeaways for all participants through engaging and fun exercises. :)

Meeting was successfully conducted on the theme "POWER", bringing together all attendees in an engaging and thought-provoking session. The event featured enthusiastic participation, with vibrant discussions unfolding around the meaning and implications of power and wealth.

TM Zoha Ruman did a brilliant job as the Toastmaster of the Day, setting the tone with the powerful and timely theme "POWER." She opened the session with insightful remarks and made a notable reference to the movie Animal Farm, effectively linking its message to real-world dynamics of influence and control.

The Table Topics session, led by TM Bilal Jadoon encouraged spontaneous responses aligned with the meeting theme, "POWER". Participants responded with enthusiasm, making the session lively and reflective. Both members and guests contributed enthusiastically, sparking insightful and lively exchanges.

Two prepared speeches marked significant milestones in members' educational journeys:

TM Ghulam Raza delivered his Ice Breaker speech, sharing his story with authenticity and confidence. His speech was well-received and he now qualifies for his next project, earning warm applause and encouragement from the club.

TM Ikhlaq Ahmed presented his Project 4 – Level 1 speech, inspired by the book "Making The Best Man Speech". His presentation offered valuable insights into crafting impactful and memorable speeches for special occasions, highlighting key techniques in speech writing, humor, and emotional connection.

The evaluation segment was led with poise and clarity by General Evaluator TM Farasat, who offered constructive and thoughtful feedback. His remarks supported the speakers and role players in identifying strengths and areas for further growth.

Throughout the meeting, humor added a lively touch, creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment. Even guests were drawn into the experience, contributing perspectives and expressing appreciation for the interactive and welcoming atmosphere.

An interactive session was held Yesterday by the ICMAP Toastmasters Club, in collaboration with DPMUN and with the valuable support of Mr. Muhammad Imran, Chairman Islamabad Branch Council ICMA Pakistan and Past President of ICMAP Toastmasters Club.

The session featured exceptional keynote speeches and enriching contributions. Distinguished Toastmaster Abrar Wani delivered powerful insights on “The Toastmasters Impact,” while Toastmaster Bilal captivated the audience with his keynote on “The Way You Communicate Matters,” highlighting the importance of intentional and effective communication.

The meeting theme, “Growth Mindset,” was thoughtfully presented by Toastmaster of the Day, Humayun Kiani setting an inspiring tone throughout the event.

Adding further value, Toastmaster Irfan Qureshi delivered a compelling General Evaluator’s report, providing constructive feedback and encouraging continued excellence.

Yesterday’s session was truly inspiring, led by the Toastmaster of the Day, Nisar Ahmed who guided the meeting with great motivation and energy.
The event featured two energizing icebreaker speeches, including Bilal Khan Jadoon motivational talk on dreams and hope. Bilal also achieved qualification for Level 1—congratulations! Zameer presented insights on Level 1, Project 1, alongside other impactful speeches.

Awards were given to celebrate excellence:
Sibtain as Best Table Topic Speaker,
