Session III | Human Rights Fellowship 2026

The Human Rights Fellowship 2026 — Awareness & Advocacy Program continues with Session III, focusing on Fundamental Freedoms and Civic Participation.

Session III, titled “Freedom in a Constitutional Democracy: Rights, Restrictions and Responsibility,” will explore the fundamental freedoms that enable individuals to participate meaningfully in society and public life.

The session will examine:

• Freedom of Movement
• Freedom of Assembly
• Freedom of Association
• Freedom of Profession
• Freedom of Expression
• Freedom of Religion

The discussion will encourage fellows to understand these freedoms not only as constitutional rights, but also in the context of their responsible exercise within a constitutional and democratic framework.

Through this session, fellows will explore the relationship between individual freedoms, civic participation, legal protections, and the responsibilities that accompany the exercise of fundamental rights.
