Strengthening Disaster Preparedness & Resilience!
Our Rajanpur team organized a District-level Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Forum Meeting under the Strengthening and Rebuilding Resilience of Flood-Affected Communities Project, chaired by Ms. Tahmina Dilshad (Deputy Director Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal).

The meeting brought together representatives from Government departments, Rescue 1122, INGOs, NGOs, and other stakeholders to discuss coordination, information sharing, and effective emergency response, reflecting PMS’s role in supporting local institutions and strengthening disaster resilience.

To support these efforts, IT equipment was handed over to the Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Department to strengthen information management and timely response during emergencies and disasters.

Empowering Young Pastors for Creation Care!

Our Faisalabad team organized a Workshop with Young Pastors on Environmental Challenges under the Green Church Initiative (GCI) Phase III, bringing together 50 young Pastors and Church leaders to learn about Creation Care and environmental challenges.

The session featured Mr. Jamshed Gill (CCT Lead, Tearfund UK), Mr. Eli Sardar (Principal, Bible Correspondence School), and Mr. Faiq Sabir (Project Manager, PMS).

Through Biblical reflection, interactive learning, and group discussions, participants gained practical insights into how Churches and communities can promote environmental responsibility and sustainable practices, encouraging them to take forward Creation Care initiatives in their Churches and communities.

Strengthening Emotional Intelligence!

A one-day training session on Emotional Intelligence was organized for the interns of Cohort 15 of the Young Graduate Internship Programme (YGIP).

Led by Mr. Shah Hussain (Clinical Psychologist), the session focused on understanding and managing emotions, building self-awareness, managing stress, developing empathy and active listening skills, and strengthening constructive communication. Through interactive activities, interns also explored practical ways to handle disagreements and build positive relationships in their personal and professional interactions.

Our Lasbela team is organizing a series of Community Leadership Management Skills Training (CLMST) workshops across UC Ahora, Wayaro, and Kehenwari, Uthal, district Lasbela, under the Rebuilding Lives of Flood-Affected Communities in District Lasbela Through Strengthened Resilience project, engaging members of Village Development Committees (VDCs).

With a target of 30 VDCs, the initiative has so far engaged 240 members from 20 VDCs, including 160 men and 80 women, through 10 two-day workshops.

The training strengthens skills in leadership, community development, conflict management, networking, and fund management, empowering VDCs to lead local development and build more resilient communities.

Our Faisalabad team organized an Integral Mission Seminar under the Green Church Initiative Phase-III, bringing together Youth, Women, Pastors, and Church Leaders from 10 partner churches for a meaningful day of learning, reflection, fellowship, and dialogue.

The event featured valuable contributions from Mr. Jamshed Gill (CCT Lead, Tearfund UK), Mr. Eli Sardar (Principal, Bible Correspondence School), Rev. Fr. Khalid Rasheed Assi (Catholic Parish Priest and Director, National Commission for Justice and Peace, NCJP), Zahoor ul Haq Calvin (Former Director, Pakistan Christian Recording Ministries), Pastor Sohail Masih (Pastor, First Presbyterian Church Faisalabad), and Mr. Faiq Sabir (Project Manager, PMS) who facilitated an interactive learning session.

The seminar deepened participants’ understanding of Integral Mission and encouraged them to turn faith into action by serving communities, addressing social challenges, caring for creation, and demonstrating Christ’s love through practical engagement.

Our Rajanpur team installed and handed over 20 Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plants to 20 target schools across Lundi Saidan, Harrand, Wah Lashari, Noorpur Manjhowala, and Fatehpur, District Rajanpur under the Strengthening and Rebuilding Resilience of Flood-Affected Communities Project.

The intervention aims to improve access to safe and clean drinking water for students and school communities, supporting better health, hygiene, and a healthier learning environment. With proper use and maintenance, these facilities will also contribute to the long-term resilience and well-being of schools and surrounding communities.

A one-day training session on Essential Managerial Skills at Workplace was organized for our Cohort 15 interns of the Young Graduate Internship Programme (YGIP).

Led by Mr. Francis Nazir (Programme Manager, Arete Institute of Leadership and Management) the session focused on key areas such as leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, delegation, and financial management. Interns also explored the core functions of management and the role of teamwork in achieving shared goals.

Our Faisalabad team organized and completed the second Influencing & Social Accountability Training Workshop under the Green Church Initiative Phase III.

The workshop brought together Church Leaders, Pastors, and Key Stakeholders for interactive learning on social accountability, positive influence, responsible leadership, and community engagement.

Mr. Jamshed Gill (CCT Lead, Tearfund UK) led a session on CCT Influencing & Social Accountability, connecting accountability with everyday relationships, decisions, and community life. Mr. Naseem Anthony, (Director Programmes Awaam Pakistan) shared practical insights on social accountability, while Pastor Eli Sardar (Principal, Pakistan Correspondence School) reflected on biblical examples of positive influence and leadership.

An engaging group activity facilitated by Mr. Faiq Sabir (Project Manager, PMS) encouraged participants to reflect on the people who have positively influenced their lives and the values they can carry forward.

Together, we are learning that positive change begins with each one of us.
