A Servant of the Mosque, A Patient of Grace: Tahir Muhammad’s Story
Tahir Muhammad has devoted his life to serving his local mosque as its caretaker and supervisor — a role he has held with quiet dedication for many years. But in 2011, life handed him an additional challenge: a diagnosis of diabetes. Managing the condition brought not only physical strain, but a financial burden that weighed heavily on a man of modest means. Insulin, regular medication, and ongoing monitoring all come at a cost that was difficult to sustain. Then, through word of mouth in his community, Tahir heard about the Yashfeen Trust Free Diabetic Centre. In 2018, he visited for the first time — and it changed everything.
