๐ Empowering Future Engineers at CUST โ Bridging Theory with Industry ๐ง๐
At the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad, we believe in preparing our students not just through classrooms and labs, but by immersing them in real-world engineering experiences.
Through active participation in prestigious national and international student societies like the ASHRAE Student Branch and PHVACR Society โ CUST Student Chapter, our students gain hands-on exposure and a professional mindset early in their academic journey.
Under the committed guidance of Assistant Professor Engr. Saifullah Awan and the visionary leadership of Dr. M. Mahabat Khan (HoD, Mechanical Engineering), we ensure that our students are groomed for professional excellence.
๐ผ One such inspiring example is Ali Hassan, a passionate Mechanical Engineering student who explored his interest in the HVACR field and recently completed a successful summer internship at Kasib Tech โ a leading MEP company affiliated with York USA.
๐ Hereโs what Ali had to say:
> โKasib Tech provided a professional, innovative, and collaborative environment where I enhanced my technical understanding, gained industrial experience, and developed key professional skills.
I am truly thankful to CUST for always aligning student opportunities with our interests and career goals. This experience helped me apply classroom knowledge in a practical setting โ and grow personally and professionally.โ
This achievement reflects the dedication of our faculty, the strength of our industrial linkages, and the talent of our students.
๐ Congratulations, Ali! We are proud of you and look forward to seeing many more of our students making their mark in the industry.
