Talha Saleem, Founder of The Advocacy Forum and Member of the Prime Minister’s National Youth Council, represented Prime Minister's Youth Programme Sindh in the Validation Workshop on the National Adolescents & Youth Policy, a pivotal consultation aimed at aligning provincial insights with Pakistan’s national youth development agenda. 🇵🇰

The workshop convened key stakeholders from across the country, including representatives of the Government of Sindh — notably the Departments of Youth Affairs, Social Welfare, Education,Chief Secretary’s Office and the Chief Minister's Office alongside UNICEF and Prime Minister's Office. Discussions focused on addressing implementation gaps, establishing sustainable funding mechanisms, and strengthening monitoring and evaluation frameworks to ensure effective policy ex*****on.

During the session, Sindh’s Consultative Document, developed under Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Sindh in partnership with The Advocacy Forum was presented. The document encapsulates the voices, priorities, and aspirations of Sindh’s youth from diverse social and geographic backgrounds, ensuring their meaningful representation in the national policy framework.

Through advocacy & policy contributions,The Advocacy Forum, aims to continue advancing evidence-based advocacy, intergenerational inclusion, and meaningful youth participation in national decision-making processes reaffirming our commitment to a progressive, equitable, and empowered Pakistan. 🌍💚🇵🇰

In collaboration with the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), The Advocacy Forum is pleased to present the key findings from the Focused Group Discussions (FGDs) conducted in Sindh for the formulation of the National Adolescents & Youth Policy.

These findings capture the voices, perspectives, and aspirations of young people from diverse segments of society, ensuring their priorities are meaningfully reflected in the development of an inclusive and youth-centered national policy framework.

An online Focused Group Discussion on the National Adolescents & Youth Policy 2025 was conducted, bringing together youth activists from across Pakistan.

Experiences were shared, challenges were highlighted, and ideas were presented to ensure that young voices were included in shaping a more inclusive and representative policy framework for Pakistan. 🇵🇰✨

The Advocacy Forum, in collaboration with PILC (Pakistan Independent Living Centre Network) and the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, organized a Focused Group Discussion on the National Adolescents & Youth Policy at PILC Head Office.

This meaningful dialogue was led by Prime Minister’s National Youth Council members, Mr. Talha Saleem and Mr. Wasif Ansari, actively engaging Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) to ensure inclusive, representative, and youth-centered policymaking for Pakistan.

Sherleen Gill and Shoaib Taha, members of the Advisory Board PMYP Sindh, were also present to lend their valuable insights and support.

This impactful session was conducted by Prime Minister’s National Youth Council members Mr. Talha Saleem and Mr. Wasif Ansari, engaging minority women to ensure inclusive and representative policymaking for Pakistan’s youth.
