Addressing the gathering, President GIKIAA Asif Ahmad underlined the value of a well-connected alumni network, particularly one built around career growth, mentorship, and professional opportunity, and announced that the GIKIAA will be taking similar events forward on a regular basis.

Empowering Future Engineers: Another Milestone for the One-Chair Endowment Fund at GIKI

By the Grace of Allah (SWT), we proudly announce another endowed scholarship under the One-Chair Endowment Fund at GIKI, made possible by 99 Technologies’ generous Rs. 10 million contribution. This initiative ensures outstanding students receive world-class education, reinforcing Pakistan’s development goals.

The Endowment Agreement was signed at the SOPREST Secretariat, Islamabad, bringing together key leaders:

Obituary: Mr. Furqan Muhammad Khan, Assistant Commissioner, Pattoki, GIKI Alum—Batch 20
We are deeply saddened by the passing of our esteemed alumnus, Furqan Muhammad Khan (GIKI ME Batch 20), who was serving as Assistant Commissioner. He passed away while on duty in the flood-affected region of Head Balloki. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.
He had been continuously engaged in rescue and relief operations in flood-affected areas for several days, staying at the site and ensuring round-the-clock monitoring of the operation. His sad demise is not only a loss to his family and friends but also to the nation, which he served with exceptional courage and devotion.
The GIKI community takes immense pride in his service and sacrifice. His commitment to duty, compassion for humanity, and resilience in the face of adversity will always be remembered as a shining example for all.
We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah and give strength to his loved ones to bear this irreparable loss.
A condolence reference was held at the GIK Institute on September 1, 2025, which was attended by the Rector, Pro-Rectors, Deans, Directors, Senior Faculty Members, and Student Representatives.

Congratulations to GIK Batch 32 on joining the GIKI Alumni Association!
The GIK Institute proudly welcomed the graduating class of 2026 into the prestigious GIKI Alumni Association during the Alumni Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony held at the AHA Auditorium.
Mr. Asif Ahmad, President of the GIKI Alumni Association, administered the oath to the graduating students, marking their formal transition from students to alumni. The ceremony was attended by Rector GIK, Prof. Dr. Fazal Khalid, SI; Pro-Rector (Administration), Brig. (R) Babar Miraj Shami; Pro-Rector (Academic), Prof Dr S. M. Hasan Zaidi; Vice President (Finance), GIKIAA, Ms. Saima Salman; General Secretary, GIKIAA, Mr. Illum Khan; GIK alumnus Mr. Kashif Salim; deans; heads of departments; and the graduating Batch 32.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all graduates and look forward to their continued contributions as proud ambassadors of GIKI.

"Growth and comfort do not coexist." With these powerful words, Mr. Asif Ahmad, president of the GIKI Alumni Association, welcomed GIK Batch 32 into the GIKI Alumni family during the Alumni Induction & Oath-Taking Ceremony.

Addressing the graduating class, he urged them to embrace challenges, take ownership, let discipline outweigh motivation, collaborate with AI instead of competing against it, remain humble, protect their health, uphold their values, and always keep Pakistan in their equation while carrying GIKI with pride.

The oath-taking ceremony marked the graduates' transition from students to lifelong members of the GIKI Alumni Association.
