Tharparkar — where over 60% of children are stunted and 1 in 3 suffers acute malnutrition — is one of Pakistan's most vulnerable districts. For newborns here, every hour is critical.
Since 2015, HHRD's HANP has been running the NICU at Civil Hospital Mithi, serving as the primary neonatal referral facility for five districts — Tharparkar, Umerkot, Badin, Thatta & Sujawal — treating 2,000+ newborns annually, round the clock.

Over 300 patients were examined, and free medicines were also provided to those in need.
