ALIGHT Pakistan, formerly American Refugee Committee, has launched the largest ever education initiative for Out-of-School Children (OOSC) in Pakistan, in partnership with the Government of Pakistan and Education Above All (EAA) Qatar, under the latter's Educate-A-Child (EAC) program. The strategic program aims to reach at least ten million children globally with quality primary education. Under t

his program, in Pakistan, the Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training (MOENT) and ALIGHT are working to ensure enrolment and retention of one million children across the country. The EAC program is built on addressing the root causes and barriers to education at primary level and is aligned with the priorities defined in National Education Policy 2017 of the Government of Pakistan.

Projecting dreams into reality; Alight Pakistan, through the TechHER Forward digital literacy program, is inculcating digital skills in young women so they can learn to build, market, and earn through their business ideas. Through this approach, Alight promotes one of its core values, Co-creation, and eventually brings the communty's visions to life.
