Today, the International Day for Tolerance was celebrated on November 19, like every year, at the Prime Minister's House, in which Dr. Robin Amjad, Chairman Amjad Trust, also participated, and Pakistan joins the international community in promoting mutual understanding and respect. The United Nations General Assembly announced this day in 1995 to encourage tolerance and understanding between different cultures and people. In which the message of tolerance and love was given, the Prime Minister of Pakistan and various political, social and government figures participated in this program. All the institutions that are playing their role in religious harmony, love and tolerance all participated, in which Senator Kamran Michael, leading the Christian community, gave a good message to the nation.

In Pakistan, this day serves as a reminder of the importance of promoting harmony and coexistence among diverse communities. It highlights the need to promote a culture of acceptance, respect and dialogue.

Women empowerment in the Christian community of Pakistan is an important and growing movement, despite facing numerous social and economic challenges. Christian women in Pakistan often face double marginalization—both as women in a patriarchal society and as members of a religious minority. However, many are now stepping forward through education, vocational training, and active participation in churches and community organizations. NGOs and faith-based groups are playing a vital role in promoting leadership, awareness of rights, and access to opportunities for Christian women. Their involvement in education, healthcare, and social work is helping to break stereotypes and uplift entire communities, contributing positively to the broader goal of gender equality in Pakistan.
