PRCS Marks International Volunteer Day with Tributes to the Spirit of Humanity

The Pakistan Red Crescent Society celebrated International Volunteer Day in Islamabad under the theme Every Contribution Matters. Students from Cadet College Hasan Abdal and other institutions joined a vibrant event that included a march past and a stage play on the Red Cross Red Crescent legacy.

Chairperson Mrs. Farzana Naek appreciated volunteers for their dedication and called them the heart of PRCS humanitarian work. She encouraged young people to step forward and serve their communities.
Secretary General Muhammad Abaidullah Khan highlighted the commitment of PRCS volunteers in disaster response and community programs across Pakistan.

Representatives from IFRC and the German Red Cross paid tribute to volunteers for their service and reaffirmed their support.

The ceremony concluded with shields of appreciation and a cake cutting to honor all volunteers who continue to make a difference.
