Pakistan Red Crescent Society is a Humanitarian Organization working to uplift the lives of the vulnerable people by mobilizing the power of Humanity.

This aim can only be achieved through active participation of volunteers from all segments of the society in all PRCS programs. Today the PRCS is proud to have more than 253,000 volunteers and members attached to its programs in various categories.

The Pakistan Red Crescent Society proudly launches the RED Million Movement—a nationwide call to inspire, engage, and mobilize 1 Million Volunteers to serve humanity across Pakistan.

Y-Adapt training was conducted under the YOUR-CAP Project at Ali Masjid, District Khyber, with participation from students of GHSS Shagai and PRCS volunteers. The training was facilitated by Sadeer Ahmad, a certified Y-Adapt Training of Trainers (TOT) facilitator.
Y-Adapt is a youth-centered climate adaptation and resilience-building tool designed to empower young people with knowledge and practical actions to address climate change challenges while strengthening community resilience. The tool encourages youth-led solutions and promotes awareness on climate-related risks and adaptation strategies.
Additionally, Abu Bakar, PRCS volunteer and certified Pakistan Youth Leadership Initiative Master Trainer, facilitated the climate and mental health nexus component of the training, highlighting the impact of climate change on mental well-being and the importance of building psychosocial resilience among young people and communities.

Walls Speak for the Planet at PRCS Climate Champion Event

As part of Red Cross Red Crescent Week 2026 celebrations, students transformed the outer walls of Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) into powerful messages of climate awareness through vibrant art and creative wall painting.

The colorful artwork highlighted the growing impact of climate change, the importance of reducing plastic pollution, and the collective responsibility to protect our planet for future generations.

Chairperson PRCS Mrs. Farzhana Naek appreciated the creativity and passion of the young participants, emphasizing that youth voices and artistic expression play a vital role in promoting environmental awareness and inspiring climate action.

🚴🌍 Pedal for the Planet

As part of Red Cross Red Crescent Week 2026, PRCS organized a cycling activity promoting climate awareness, healthy living, and a greener future.

Students, volunteers, and participants came together with one message: reduce carbon emissions and choose sustainable living.

Chairperson PRCS Mrs. Farzhana Naek appreciated the energy and commitment of youth advocating for climate action through eco-friendly initiatives.

On the occasion of World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day 2026, celebrated under the theme “United in Humanity,” We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all youth and volunteers who continue to serve communities with compassion, dedication, and humanity.
Today, we recognize the power of unity, volunteerism, and collective action in addressing humanitarian challenges and supporting the most vulnerable people across the world. Our youth and volunteers are the true strength of the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement, standing at the forefront during emergencies, disasters, health crises, and community initiatives.

PRCS Marks International Volunteer Day with Tributes to the Spirit of Humanity

The Pakistan Red Crescent Society celebrated International Volunteer Day in Islamabad under the theme Every Contribution Matters. Students from Cadet College Hasan Abdal and other institutions joined a vibrant event that included a march past and a stage play on the Red Cross Red Crescent legacy.

Chairperson Mrs. Farzana Naek appreciated volunteers for their dedication and called them the heart of PRCS humanitarian work. She encouraged young people to step forward and serve their communities.
Secretary General Muhammad Abaidullah Khan highlighted the commitment of PRCS volunteers in disaster response and community programs across Pakistan.

Representatives from IFRC and the German Red Cross paid tribute to volunteers for their service and reaffirmed their support.

The ceremony concluded with shields of appreciation and a cake cutting to honor all volunteers who continue to make a difference.
