Our institutional partner, ARNEC has recently launched the call for applications for the second cohort of their ECD and Climate Change Youth Champions initiative!

They are looking for passionate young leaders aged 18–32 who are interested in climate change, early childhood development, health and wellbeing, and community engagement, and who are committed to amplifying children’s voices in climate discourse and policy spaces.

Selected Youth Champions will have the opportunity to:
-Develop youth-led research initiatives
-Design innovative community interventions
-Create advocacy materials such as films, policy briefs, and social media campaigns
-Receive support and resources to implement their projects
-Participate in regional and global engagement opportunities

Our collaborative partner, Trehaus, is organising a webinar on Monday, 18th May at 1 p.m. SGT on the topic: Using AI to Meet National Education Standards: From Policy to Practice.

Besides the Co-Founders of Trehaus, Dr. Elaine Kim (Co-Founder) and Elizabeth Wu (Co-Founder), the session will also feature Bilal Ahmad, Co-Founder and Director of Central School International, Pakistan, and Carolyn M. Choo, Head of Education at SEGi and President of the ECCE Council Malaysia, as speakers.

This will be a valuable opportunity to explore how AI can be leveraged to support national education standards and translate policy into effective practice.

This course is ideal for teachers, parents, researchers, caregivers, and aspiring professionals looking to build a strong foundation in early childhood development.

Total 20 sessions, with 3 sessions per week held on:
• Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM
• Sunday: 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM

Format: Online classes via Zoom

Course Fee: 12,000 PKR
