Strasbourg: Eyyub Sultan Mosque and Complex Near Completion.🕌❤️🇫🇷

The Eyyub Sultan Mosque and its extensive complex, currently under construction in Strasbourg, France, are nearing completion, a development that has been warmly welcomed.

Speaking to M***is at the Fatwa Secretariat of Dar-Al-Ifta Islamabad, His Eminence Dr.M***i Akeel-Ur-Rehman Pirzada, Grand M***i of Islamabad & Chairman Ulama Aman(Peace)Committee Pakistan, expressed his appreciation for the progress of the project. He stated that the completion of this extensive complex is a welcome development, particularly given the support and approval of the French authorities. Once completed, it is expected to become one of the region’s prominent mosques and important Islamic centres.

The mosque’s extensive architectural design draws inspiration from Islamic architectural traditions. The wider complex is also expected to serve as a centre for interfaith dialogue, peacebuilding and a range of religious, educational and cultural activities for the local Muslim community.

The peaceful environment fostered by the local Muslim community, together with the cooperation of the local authorities in facilitating the construction of the mosque for religious purposes, represents an important development for Muslims in the area. The complex is expected to provide not only a significant place of worship but also a venue for constructive community and social activities.

Grand M***i further noted that such initiatives can contribute meaningfully to the promotion of peace, mutual understanding and interfaith dialogue. He commended the efforts of both the local Muslim community and the French authorities, describing their cooperation as a positive example that can help strengthen fraternity, social cohesion and solidarity.
