Women's Health Intervention & Development Initiative - WHIDI WHI-DI (pronounced "why die") is a non-profit organization that promotes development and maternal and child health in Pakistan. Dr. Lubna Hassan.

WHI-DI was founded in 2013 by Prof. She has over 40 years of experience in OB/GYN and Public Health. The story of WHI-DI is one of frustration and hope. As a developing country Pakistan is not short on problems, and some of the most troubling are widespread poverty and the status of maternal and child health. d to make matters worse in recent years Pakistan has been hit with both man-made and natural disasters which have caused hundreds of thousands of people to be displaced. WHI-DI is committed to playing its part to build the capacity of marginalized communities, and unlike many other organizations working in development, WHI-DI believes in community and locally led initiatives. WHI-DI believes in a bottom-up approach to facilitate vulnerable groups achieving their aspirations and realizing their fundamental human rights.
