The Alumni Association of NUTECH (AAN) is proud to introduce the NUTECH Alumni Legacy Fund, an initiative dedicated to creating opportunities for deserving NUTECH students through need-based scholarships.
Our inaugural campaign aims to raise PKR 500,000 to establish the foundation of the AAN Legacy Scholarship.

As alumni, we carry forward more than a degree. We carry the experiences, opportunities, and memories that shaped our journey.
Now, we have an opportunity to give something back and help shape the journey of those who come next.

Alumni Association of NUTECH (AAN) congratulates it’s class of 2026 alumni Mushtaq Hussain Hamad Mukhtar and Farooq Shahzad for grabbing the 1st runner up position in the Business Idea Competition which was held by Pakistan HVACR Society, Islamabad Chapter.

The criteria was based on innovation, feasibility, technical excellence, commercial business potential and societal impact. The team of judges included an esteemed panel of experts who evaluated and performed critical assessment.

They outperformed 66 teams comprising individuals from Pakistan’s leading universities and secured 1st runner up position.

There is something truly powerful about sharing your experiences, lessons, and journeys with the next generation.

For the past couple of years, the NUTECH alumni community has been contributing to student growth through informal mentorship, personal guidance, and initiatives such as the Alumni Association of NUTECH (AAN) “Global Pathways” webinar series. While these efforts have created meaningful impact, we believe it is time to take this connection to the next level.

AAN is now focusing on expanding alumni engagement through structured, high-impact, and on-campus initiatives that bring alumni and students closer together.

Recently, we conducted a strategic alignment session with the NUTECH Office of Student Affairs (OSA), university clubs, and student societies to develop a roadmap for strengthening mentorship, collaboration, and student support. With their valuable cooperation and shared vision, we are moving towards creating more opportunities for direct interaction between alumni and students.

Over the next six months, AAN will be working towards:

In-Person Domain-Specific Mentoring
Launching focused mentoring sessions where alumni will guide students through career pathways, industry insights, and professional development.

Industry & Corporate Collaboration
Strengthening university-industry linkages through alumni networks, advisory collaborations, and increased participation of alumni-led organizations in campus recruitment activities and job fairs.

The Grand Alumni Homecoming & Dinner
Creating a platform for graduates to reconnect, celebrate shared experiences, and strengthen the NUTECH alumni community.

Celebrating Alumni Success Stories
Introducing a dedicated media initiative to highlight the journeys, achievements, and experiences of AAN members, inspiring students and showcasing the diverse paths of our graduates.

Our alumni network is filled with stories of resilience, innovation, and success. By bringing these experiences back to campus, we aim to build stronger connections, inspire future generations, and create a lasting impact within the NUTECH community.

The Alumni Association of NUTECH (AAN) recently engaged with the NUTECH ICT Office to review the progress of the AAN Registration and Alumni Portal, with discussions focused on enhancing platform stability, functionality, and user experience.

The meeting served as a follow-up to ongoing efforts aimed at resolving technical challenges and ensuring a seamless digital experience for NUTECH alumni. The ICT team briefed AAN on the university’s ongoing migration from Odoo 14 to Odoo 19, a major institutional upgrade that is currently being prioritized across multiple university systems.

Key areas discussed included portal performance optimization, alumni registration processes, website stability, and improvements to overall platform functionality. The Rector of NUTECH also emphasized the importance of accelerating these enhancements to strengthen alumni engagement and improve accessibility for graduates worldwide.

According to the ICT Office, the updated AAN portal is expected to be deployed within the next 1-2 months. AAN will continue to coordinate closely with the ICT team through regular follow-ups to ensure timely implementation and delivery of the planned improvements.

Together, we remain committed to building a stronger, more connected, and digitally empowered NUTECH alumni community.
