The Impactors Club brought our alumni together once again for a shared Iftar 🌙 Different journeys, one table, and a bond that picks up right where it left off. May our deeds be accepted, may goodness continue to grow, and may we witness another Ramadan in peace.

We are grateful to have Zahra Majid, Managing Director & CEO of Coaching Quotient (UK), as one of the earliest supporters of Youth Impact.
Believing in the power of the outdoors as a transformational classroom, Zahra’s journey with us began as a participant during her corporate career in one of our leadership programs. Today, as a global HR and leadership expert, she continues to guide Youth Impact by connecting us with the right people, resources, and opportunities to grow.
Her work in business consulting, leadership coaching, and strengthening emotional and communication capacities reflects the very values we aim to build in young leaders.
Supporters like Zahra help us create experiences that shape confident, resilient, and purpose-driven individuals.

You think your doubts are protecting you?
Helping you aim better?
Keeping you “realistic”?
They’re not.
They’re keeping you comfortable.
And comfort rarely creates growth.
You’ll hesitate.
You’ll wonder if it’s worth it.
You’ll question if you’re ready.
But growth never sends an invitation that feels safe.
Kill the doubt.
Choose courage over comfort.

It all started in 2007 when Abdul Samad Khan (CEO Youth Impact) was diagnosed with Cancer. He was undergoing chemotherapy when he came across a catalog from NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School). He saw a climber on the mountain summit and realized he wants to be that person. He decided that if he gets his health back, he will study at NOLS. By the grace of Allah, he recovered.
As he had planned, he joined NOLS. Among many things that he learned there, he saw that they focus on young leaders a lot. Seeing all this, he started wondering if this is what he wanted to do in life. Allah had given him his life back, shouldn’t he utilize it in a better way? Previously, all he wanted to become was a successful corporate leadership trainer but was it worth dedicating his life to? NOLS had given him the idea to groom the youth in leadership skills. Since leadership development was an area Samad knew very well, this gave birth to the idea of Youth Impact and he shifted his focus from his corporate job to this idea.
However, this was not a one-man job. Samad’s colleagues such as Nisar Moosa who was in the corporate sector, Hasan Bashir who had a business in Karachi, Haris an engineer with a decade long experience and the youngest of all Hamza, all felt that this wasn’t it. There was more to life than a 9 to 5 job. They all wanted to make an impact on society. Such ideologies combined, formed the YOUTH IMPACT.
In 2012, Samad started dedicating his time to Youth Impact completely but it wasn’t until 2013 that Youth Impact became official. Youth Impact got registered in the security Exchange Commission of Pakistan. The team started its operations to empower and develop the Youth. They realized the greatest challenge at hand is the lack of character and moral values among all the leaders, no matter which sector, was and is the real problem. The nation cannot change unless its leaders don’t have any values. The aim of Youth Impact is to develop young purposeful leaders with strong moral and character values. They would be the rightful social leaders!
Currently, Youth Impact has seven active funding streams that include corporate funds, institutional funds, government higher education funds, funds from foreign organizations that support this pattern, commercial funds and the Youth Impact alumni funds. People put up their time to help the team out. Youth Impact has four levels and whoever wishes to join, is put in a category, whether it is a student or a professional.
Over the years, Youth Impact has worked in 70 districts helping high and low institutions. It has trained over 25,000 people through various programs. Youth Impact’s flagship event is Markhor where the team selects 100 youth every year and gives them outdoor training. Currently, Youth Impact has 10 chapters all over Pakistan and the network is expanding further. Youth Impact is planning to conduct international programs in the coming years. All this experience has taught us one thing; whenever we are working for social good, Allah definitely helps us and shows us the path and sends allies to help and assist us in this journey.
