We're youth-led impact oriented social enterprise working to empower young Pakistanis through providing them with systematic, tailored opportunities to work toward’s a better society. Pakistan has one of the most un-empowered young populations in the world, ranking a dismal 154 among 183 countries in the Global Youth Development Index and Report 2016, this is despite the fact that almost a third o
f Pakistanis are aged between 15 and 29 years. The civic participation score of Pakistan has fallen by nearly 60% while political participation is down 69%. Without constructive engagement with the youth, Pakistan will fail to train the next generation of civic leaders, which could very well turn a great asset, into a liability. Along with a need to build the necessary infrastructure (particularly education), there is a dire need to engage with Pakistan's youth while providing them with the skills they need. This can be ideally done through providing them with a platform to be a participant rather than a bystander in Pakistan's development trajectory. Young people have the ability to act and mobilize others. Using new media, and out of the box thinking, young people can be the driving force behind sustainable national development. Through tailored opportunities and a long-term national commitment Pakistan can unlock their potential.
