This 14th August, our green and white flutters not just for freedom but for triumph. 78 years after gaining independence, we stood once again at the frontlines, faced the enemy with unshakable resolve, and emerged victorious. 💚🇵🇰
To our brave soldiers and united nation this victory is yours, this pride is ours. Pakistan Zindabad!
These are no longer rare events they have become the new normal in Pakistan.
This monsoon season has already taken 225 lives, injured over 500 people, and displaced thousands. Homes, roads, schools, and entire communities lie in ruins.
Let’s stop calling this a "natural disaster."
This is a climate emergency.
Despite contributing less than 1% to global greenhouse gas emissions, Pakistan stands among the countries suffering the most brutal impacts of climate change. And yet, year after year, our systems remain unprepared reactive, not resilient. This is no longer about forecasts. It’s about futures.
It’s time to shift from sympathy to strategy from seasonal mourning to long-term, inclusive action.
Let’s not wait for the next flood to wake up.
