a. b. c. Religious and ethical standards are also taken due care.

Contribute in the field of general education to improve literacy, increase number of children going to school and improve their retention in schools with focus on under developed areas. Prepare the youth to actualize their potential for economic empowerment by combining education with development of technical and other skills including vocational training. Provide consultancy and develop interface

to enable the youth to take on self-employment / seek appropriate jobs in Pakistan as well as in foreign job markets. It's now more than 4 years that Tech Schools are contributing towards a quality education and purposeful learning, incorporating technical skills regarding all the technical fields of life. We have willingly adapted to Single National Curriculum and found no difficulty, since we were already on similar lines. At the moment, there are 2 Schools running under COTTAGE TRUST, ie Takhtpari and Jawa. The former has more than 250 students, while the latter is abt 100. We are not only providing, quality education at subsidized cost but also helping the most destitute class of rural area, by providing free education, free books, stationery and even uniform to 105 students, ie, more than 30 %of the lot. Our schools have modern labs, libraries, including computer libraries and playgrounds. Use of internet in teaching methodology is a common feature. Besides, teachers training is a regular feature, hence we are developing the human resource as well. We have in total 70 members in the Trust who contribute financially and some of them physically through their participation in learning. In the field of Healthcare, we have been establishing a monthly medical camp, regularly, till the breakout of Covid 19. We also have an Ambulance, at our disposal, donated by a member of Cottage. Our future goals aim at building a Tech College, Centrally located between the two established campuses. We have already acquired one acre land in Jawa and construction work has started. We hope to shift to our own purpose built building by April next year, inhsaa'Allah. We expect all our friends to voluntarily come forward to join in this noble cause, through financial help or physical participation. U may contact the Chairman Cottage for knowing /seeking membership procedures,on his address, given above.

"Self-Watering Planter"
A self-watering planter is a pot that waters the plant automatically.

For this project, students used a plastic bottle and cut it into two parts. The top section was filled with soil and a plant, while the bottom section was filled with water. A thread was passed through the bottle neck down into the water, acting as a wick.

The water stays in the lower chamber, and the thread absorbs it and pulls it upward through capillary action. This keeps the soil moist, so the plant roots receive water whenever the soil starts to dry out.
