Mehergarh Youth Consortium A Consortium of Youth Groups, Organizations and Forums All in all, the Mehergarh Youth Consortium is a loosely structured platform with a broad based ownership.

It is heartening to see the youth organize itself into forums and platforms to highlight and get involved in a range of issues that the youth face today. Mehergarh recognizes the importance of these groups with their individual identities working on areas that are close to their hearts. However, there are times when it is beneficial to have a collective stance to collaborate or join hands for a la

rger issue. Collaboration is required to take a collective stance or develop strategies on issues that are critical to our society and affect us all. The Mehergarh Consortium of Youth is a platform which encourages youth groups to retain their individual identities and would invite them to join hands on specific issues when needed.

Day two of the Awareness Drive at Interloop Limited - great people to work with! Every time I walk by the hosiery and apparel plants, I am impressed with the number of people that have been provided employment here and the number of ways they are all helping Pakistan move forward! Congratulations to Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, Pakistan for having started the process of complying with the workplace harassment law! Thank you Sidra Saeedd for not giving up, and thank you Dr. Almut Wieland-Karimi, Country Director FES, for your support and joining us virtually! It was good to have Abdullah Dayo from their regional office join us too for this session! I talked to their staff about the issue of sexual harassment in workplaces and how to address it using the mechanism provided in the law. : A Center for Learning is always there to support organizations on this journey to improve their work environment!
