District Astore is the most underprivileged and underserved district of Gilgit-Baltistan. Broken roads, poorly constructed school buildings, absence of a single ICU and Ventilator in DHQ, absence of required numbers of Human for our Hospitals and Collge, lack of interest of local representatives to address the general issues are the major reasons of the backwardness.
Civil Society Astore is a forum to raise the voice at an appropriate level to draw the attention of the competent forums locally and nationally.
This forum is open to all those people who are willing to raise the voice against injustice, inequality, management failure, and support transparency and accountability in the spending of money on different public schemes and recruitment of people for different government positions.
