P@SHA is Pakistan's sole authorized trade association representing the IT industry. The voice of an industry, P@SHA was founded in 1992 to protect the rights of its members and lobby for an environment that promotes growth, prosperity, innovation and ease of doing business. It deals with issues no company could manage alone, such as input on government policies, legislation and industry incentives

. P@SHA's scope has broadened to include firms such as BPOs, Call Centers, Animation & Game Developers, Consultancies, and Startups. Going beyond borders, P@SHA also promotes Pakistan’s IT industry through trade delegations, participation in exhibitions and networking opportunities. It is the only Pakistani entity globally registered with and recognized by WISTA (World Information Technology and Services Alliance), ASOCIO (Asian Oceanic Computing Industry Organization), and APICTA (Asia Pacific ICT Alliance).

Networking Dinner | London Tech Week 2026

On 11th June, P@SHA CEC Member Usman Akbar, along with the P@SHA delegation, attended an exclusive networking dinner.

Co-hosted by P@SHA, Pakistan Tech Forum (PTF), and the UK Pakistan Business Council (UKPBC), the evening brought together entrepreneurs, business leaders, and technology professionals from across the UK and Pakistan, including Former P@SHA Chairman Muhammad Zohaib Khan.

The gathering provided a platform to exchange insights, build connections, and explore new avenues for collaboration across both tech ecosystems.

The networking evening marked another step forward in strengthening UK–Pakistan tech ties.

B2B Opportunities, Investment & Trade Roundtable | London Tech Week 2026

On 10th June, Kheezran Khan (Director Brand & Global Outreach, P@SHA) attended the B2B Opportunities, Investment & Trade Roundtable, organized by Adam Smith International (ASI) and REMIT Pakistan in collaboration with the Ministry Of IT & Telecom, Pakistan Software Export Board, and the UK's Department for Business & Trade.

The event featured Bilal Bin Saqib (CEO of the Pakistan Crypto Council & Chief Advisor to the Finance Minister) as Chief Guest, and Usman Khan (Investment Climate, Economic Growth & Climate Finance Advisor, Adam Smith International), alongside other distinguished business leaders, investors, technology companies, and policymakers from Pakistan and the UK.

Discussions focused on cross-border collaboration, investment opportunities, market expansion, and strengthening trade and technology partnerships between the two countries.

A meaningful step towards strengthening UK-Pakistan ties and expanding global opportunities for Pakistan's technology sector.

P@SHA x PSEB | Recognizing Contributions to NSCT 2026

On 9th June, the P@SHA Vice Chairman Raheel Iqbal had a productive meeting with Faisal Jeddy (CEO, Pakistan Software Export Board), along with Dr. Henna Karamat Durrani and Syeda Safa Hasany (Skills Development Associate, P@SHA), to discuss ongoing collaboration and skills development initiatives for Pakistan’s IT sector.

A key highlight of the meeting was that Faisal Jeddy formally presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Raheel Iqbal, in recognition of his significant contributions to the successful ex*****on of the National Skill Competency Test (NSCT) held on 4–5 April.

The recognition reflects the shared commitment of P@SHA and PSEB toward building a stronger, more skilled digital workforce for Pakistan.

Day 2 at London Tech Week continued the momentum with a highly productive and engaging day for the P@SHA Delegation, including CEC Member Usman Akbar and Kheezran Khan (Director Brand & Global Outreach, P@SHA).

A key highlight of the day was a constructive meeting with Rashid Iqbal (Chief Executive, Pakistan Britain Business Council) and Rizwan Anwar (Special Representative to the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme), focused on collaboration and strengthening UK-Pakistan tech and business linkages.

P@SHA × British Council Pakistan: Partnership for Future Skills & Employment

On 9th June, P@SHA signed an MoU with the British Council Pakistan under the Team Europe’s TVET Sector Support Programme to strengthen future skills and employment pathways in Pakistan’s tech sector.

The MoU was signed by Ali Hasani (Secretary General, P@SHA) and James Hampson (Country Director Pakistan, British Council), in the presence of Raheel Iqbal (Vice Chairman, P@SHA), CEC Members Dr. Sonia Saleem, Salman Dar, and Syeda Safa Hasany (Skills Development Associate, P@SHA).

During the ceremony, Raheel Iqbal emphasized the strong industry-global partnerships in improving employability and supporting the growth of Pakistan’s digital economy.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to building a more skilled and future-ready digital workforce for Pakistan.
