In March 2019, MPT participated in the Leaders for Sustainable Development (L*D) training, organized by the Society for Sustainable Development (SSD) with the support of VSO Pakistan and UK aid. More than 40 young leaders applied, and 12 community projects were selected for funding. We are honored that MPT's Community Based Job Placement Center was among the selected initiatives.

The project focused on career counseling, employability skills, and job placement support for young people in G-7/2, Islamabad. Through this initiative, 17 young people (11 males and 6 females) successfully secured employment, helping them take an important step toward a better future.

We extend our sincere appreciation to SSD, VSO Pakistan, and UK aid for investing in youth-led initiatives and creating opportunities for sustainable community development.

Following the successful completion of the three-day YouthCAN, the participating teams presented their project ideas for seed funding. Out of the five selected groups, only three projects were awarded funding for implementation, and we are proud that the Minority Protection Trust (MPT) was among them.

Through the Minority Youth Group Campaign, MPT worked with Christian youth in 66 Quarters (G-7/2), Islamabad to promote civic and constitutional awareness, encourage youth leadership, and inspire active community participation. The campaign included Human & Civic Rights awareness sessions, interactive team-building activities, and a community-led social action initiative to beautify the neighborhood.

This official video highlights the journey from training to implementation and showcases the three funded community projects, including MPT's initiative.

Our heartfelt thanks to HIVE Pakistan, and Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD) for their continued commitment to empowering youth-led initiatives and strengthening community development.

In November 2019, more than 40 groups applied to participate in YouthCAN, implemented by HIVE Pakistan in collaboration with the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD). Following a competitive selection process, only five groups were selected, and the Minority Protection Trust (MPT) was proud to be one of them.

This opportunity enabled our team to strengthen our ideas, collaborate with fellow young changemakers, and develop practical solutions to address the challenges faced by marginalized communities.

We are grateful to HIVE Pakistan, the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD), and YouthCAN for believing in young leaders and supporting community-driven initiatives.

Sharing one of the memorable milestones in MPT's journey.
