براڈ پیک (Broad Peak، 8,051 میٹر) پر 31 جولائی 2026 کو پیش آنے والا برفانی تودے (Avalanche) کا حادثہ حالیہ برسوں کے سنگین کوہ پیمائی حادثات میں شمار کیا جا رہا ہے۔

* برفانی تودہ براڈ پیک پر چڑھائی کے دوران آیا، جس کے بعد 10 بین الاقوامی کوہ پیما لاپتہ ہو گئے۔

* لاپتہ ہونے والوں میں دنیا کے معروف نیپالی نژاد برطانوی کوہ پیما نرمل پورجا بھی شامل ہیں، جنہوں نے 2019 میں تمام 14 آٹھ ہزار میٹر سے بلند چوٹیوں کو صرف 189 دن میں سر کر کے عالمی ریکارڈ قائم کیا تھا۔
* پاکستانی کوہ پیما سہیل سخی (ہنزہ) بھی اسی ٹیم کا حصہ تھے اور وہ اپنی آخری آٹھ ہزار میٹر بلند چوٹی سر کرنے کی کوشش کر رہے تھے۔
* دیگر لاپتہ افراد میں نیپال، پاکستان، عمان، امریکہ اور چین سے تعلق رکھنے والے کوہ پیما شامل ہیں۔

* اطلاعات کے مطابق ٹیم کا آخری رابطہ تقریباً 6,600 میٹر کی بلندی پر ہوا، جس کے بعد ان سے کوئی رابطہ نہیں ہو سکا۔
* پاکستان آرمی کے ہیلی کاپٹرز، الپائن کلب آف پاکستان اور مقامی ریسکیو ٹیمیں سرچ اینڈ ریسکیو آپریشن میں مصروف ہیں، تاہم خراب موسم، شدید برف باری اور دشوار گزار علاقہ امدادی کارروائیوں میں بڑی رکاوٹ بنے ہوئے ہیں۔

تاحال تمام کوہ پیماؤں کی بازیابی یا ان کی حتمی حالت کے بارے میں کوئی سرکاری تصدیق سامنے نہیں آئی، اور سرچ جاری ہے

چیزوں کی حقیقت تو اللہ ہی بہتر جانتا ہے، لیکن کوہ پیماؤں کے حوالے سے جو خبریں سامنے آ رہی ہیں، وہ دل کو بہت دکھ پہنچا رہی ہیں۔

میں خود بھی پہاڑوں سے بے حد محبت کرتا ہوں، نیچر سے عشق رکھتا ہوں، اور میری بھی خواہش ہے کہ ایک دن آٹھ ہزار میٹر سے بلند چوٹیوں پر قدم رکھوں۔ اسی لیے جب کسی کوہ پیما کے ساتھ ایسا حادثہ پیش آتا ہے تو اس کا درد دل کی گہرائیوں تک محسوس ہوتا ہے۔

اللہ تعالیٰ سے دل کی گہرائیوں سے دعا ہے کہ جو کوہ پیما زندہ ہیں، انہیں اپنی حفاظت میں رکھے، انہیں صحیح سلامت ان کے گھروں تک واپس پہنچائے، اور جو بھی مشکل میں ہیں، ان کے لیے آسانیاں پیدا فرمائے۔

تمام دوستوں سے گزارش ہے کہ ان کے لیے خصوصی دعا کریں۔ اللہ تعالیٰ سب پر اپنا کرم فرمائے۔ آمین۔🏔️🙏

🌲 Climate Bloodshed at Makhniyal Trek – Save Our Pines! 🌍
On 28 June 2026, hundreds of tall, fully grown Pine (Sanoober) trees at Makhniyal Trek, KPK – adjacent to Margalla Hills are being brutally destroyed. Their trunks are burnt and cut into pieces, leaving the mountains at risk of becoming barren.
⚠️ This is not just deforestation — it is an ecological crime against Pakistan’s natural heritage.
📢 Our Humble Appeal:
Immediate intervention by KP Forest Department, EPA, GOP authorities, and national climate NGOs.
Urgent protection of these endangered trees to safeguard biodiversity, climate resilience, and community livelihoods.
🌿 Friends of Environment calls for collective action to stop this devastation and preserve the green lungs of our nation.
