Aqua Green Club Aqua Green Club late “Professor Iftikhar” because we cannot ignore his contribution and sacrifice for the department of Environmental Sciences.

Aqua club has been created by some of the students of batch IX, in order to contribute for the conservation of our mother home Earth and in the memory of our beloved teacher. Apart from this to boost leader ship qualities among the students and look over the minor and major environmental issues under the supervision of our highly qualified Professors (Environmentalists). Aqua is a Latin word means

“Water “while Green is a symbol of healthy and clean Environment. Water is an important agent which supports existence of life, a great quotation by someone.
”life is being started with water and it will end without It”
So as a student of Environmental Science we are trying to create an atmosphere where every individual should feel the importance of our natural Resource and should be able to utilize it more effectively. And strike for preserving and conserving our natural resources which we are spoiling direct or indirectly.

Our Story

|Aqua Green club| This club was created by some of the students of Environmental Sciences back in 2011, with the aim to provide a platform for the youth of Pakistan to work for sustainable development and actively engage them in the protection and conservation of environmental resources in their respective areas. |Aqua| is a Latin word means “Water “while |Green| is a symbol of healthy and clean Environment. Water is an important agent which supports the existence of life, a great quotation by someone. “life is being started with water and it will end without It” So, as a student of Environmental Science, we are working to make everyone responsible for taking care of their resources and ensure that every individuals have the responsibility to use the available natural resources wisely and effectively. |We dedicate our initiative to those who have lost their lives in theconservation and protection of our resources and late Professor Iftikhar from the UoP was one of them |
