Regional Blood Donor Center RBDC Pakistan Red Crescent PRC The Annual blood Collection is approximately 20,000 units of Blood and FFP’s collected from 90% VNRBD. All centres are at different stages of development.

PRCS Safe Blood Program:The PRCS Blood Transfusion Service has three components (1) Donors Recruitment (2) Laboratory (3) Administration and is implemented through 7 Centres, 4 in Punjab, 2 in Sindh and 1 at Islamabad. PRCS Safe Blood Program:

in Punjab, 2 in Sindh and 1 at Islamabad. Annually, there are approximately 10,000 patient’s beneficiaries, 40,000 school leavers sensitized in Blood Safety & VNRBD. 100,000 – 300,000 beneficiaries, in mass awareness and 100 trained blood camp coordinators. PRCS follows GOP policy, strategic framework, guidelines & SOPs. Blood Donors Centre at NHQ is a modern blood bank, funded by GRC. Blood Safety, Education is funded by Blood Safety Component of HIV/AIDS program, IFRC. Most comprehensive implementation of Safe Blood Program is at NHQ.
