The Center for Research and Security Studies (CRSS) expresses profound sorrow at the sad demise of Dr. Sajida Jameel, a valued core committee member of the Beyond Boundaries initiative and a long-time friend and supporter of CRSS.

Dr. Sajida was a distinguished religious scholar and academician who dedicated her life to the promotion of Islamic values, education, and interfaith understanding. She remained a strong advocate of religious diplomacy and dialogue, and her contributions to peacebuilding and scholarly engagement will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude.

Her wisdom, commitment, and gentle presence enriched every platform she was part of, including CRSS initiatives aimed at fostering regional harmony and mutual understanding. Her passing is a great loss not only to the scholarly community but also to all those who had the privilege of working with her.

CRSS stands in solidarity with her family, friends, colleagues, and students during this difficult time. May Allah grant her the highest place in Jannah and give strength and patience to her loved ones.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.
