Large scale floods are sweeping across the KPK region of Pakistan, leaving behind nothing but devastation. According to the National Disaster Management Authority, at least 739 people have lost their lives, and more than 900 injuries have been reported.

To stand with and support our fellow countrymen, NUST has begun its KPK flood relief campaign under Project Tameer.

Ramadan at NUST is more than fasting—it’s about unity, compassion and service. To uphold these values, the NUST Community Service Club organized two Iftar Drives, bringing together students and the community.

On March 14th (13th Ramadan), volunteers visited Mera Ghar, an all-girls orphanage, where 40 NUST students shared Iftar with 150 young girls. The evening included engaging activities focused on women empowerment.

On March 15th (14th Ramadan), 30 volunteers set up an Iftar Drive at G-9 Markaz, Islamabad, serving nearly 200 individuals from underprivileged backgrounds.

Through these initiatives, NUST students turned the spirit of Ramadan into action—strengthening bonds, uplifting others and leading by example.
