اس سرگرمی کا مقصد طلبہ کی ہنگامی صورتحال کے لیے تیاری کو مستحکم بنانا اور ہنگامی حالات میں زیادہ محفوظ اور ذمہ دارانہ رویّے کو فروغ دینا تھا۔

Celebrating World Environment Day 2026 🚴🌱

To mark World Environment Day 2026, the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Punjab Branch organized an environmental awareness and stewardship activity at Bagh-e-Jinnah, Lahore. The initiative featured a bicycle rally, plantation drive, and cleanliness campaign aimed at promoting environmental responsibility and sustainable practices.

PRCS staff and volunteers actively participated in the bicycle rally, highlighting the importance of eco-friendly transportation and reducing carbon emissions. Mr. Jalil, Project Director of PHA, also joined the activity and appreciated the dedication of PRCS volunteers and staff in advancing environmental stewardship and building a greener future for all.

Change starts with one step, and grows when others join in.

After attending the PRCS Boys for Gender Equality Forum, students of Cadet College Hassanabdal left with a renewed sense of responsibility. Inspired by the message of community service, equality, and collective action, they worked to improve the playground in the Supporting Staff Residential Area, creating a safer and more welcoming space for children.

Their initiative reminds us that stronger communities are not built overnight. They are built through small acts of kindness, shared responsibility, and people who choose to take action.

When Service Becomes More than Duty, it Becomes Humanity in Motion.

For four days during Vaisakhi at Gurdwara Panja Sahib, Hassanabdal, students of the Cadet College Hassanabdal, Pakistan Red Crescent Youth Club welcomed Sikh yatrees with flowers, supported elderly pilgrims at Wali Qandhari Hill, helped maintain cleanliness, assisted at the First Aid and Medical Camp, and served food and refreshments with dignity.

Every small act carried a larger message: humanity is not limited by religion, language, or community. It lives in the way we welcome, support, and serve one another.

From the first welcome to the final farewell, the cadets reflected the true spirit of service, unity, and interfaith harmony.

"بہتر ماحول ہر انسان کا بنیادی حق ہے۔قدرت ایک محفوظ اور زیادہ مستحکم دنیا کی تعمیر میں ہماری سب سے اہم شراکت دار ہے۔ چونکہ موسمیاتی تبدیلی پاکستان بھر کی کمیونٹیز کو مسلسل متاثر کر رہی ہے, ہلال احمر پاکستان اپنے عملے، رضاکاروں اور شراکت داروں کے ذریعے ماحولیاتی ذمہ داری کے فروغ، کمیونٹی کی قیادت میں موسمیاتی اقدامات کی پیش رفت اور ماحولیاتی نظام کے تحفظ کے لیے سرگرم عمل ہے۔
عالمی یومِ ماحولیات کے موقع پر میں تمام افراد سے اپیل کرتی ہوں کہ وہ ماحول کے تحفظ کے لیے متحد ہوں۔ اجتماعی کوششوں اور قدرت سے ہم آہنگ ہو کر ہم زیادہ صاف اور شفاف معاشرہ تشکیل دے سکتے ہیں تاکہ آنے والی نسلوں کے لیے ایک خوشگوار مستقبل کو یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔"

Spreading Hope with Dignity and Care ❤️

Pakistan Red Crescent Society, in collaboration with the Turkish Red Crescent, provided 450 food packs to widows, female headed households, persons with disabilities, low income families, and other highly vulnerable households in District Malir Gadap, Karachi.

The purpose of this activity was to provide immediate relief support to families facing economic hardship and to help them meet their essential household needs with dignity. The intervention was implemented in response to the urgent needs identified at community level, aiming to reduce the pressure on affected households and support their basic consumption requirements during challenging times.

The Honorable Chairperson PRCS Mrs. Farzhana Naek graced the event along with Head of Delegation TRCS in Pakistan Ms. Beyza Taner. The identification and registration of beneficiaries, along with the overall coordination of the activity, were led by the PRCS National Headquarters , while the PRCS Sindh branch supported the distribution process by deploying dedicated volunteers who ensured the smooth and orderly distribution of food packs.
