Sunday evening, His Eminence Dr.M***i Akeel-Ur-Rehman Pirzada, (Grand M***i of Islamabad & Chairman Ulama Aman Committee Pakistan, met with His Eminence Cardinal Patabendige Don Albert Malcolm Ranjith. Archbishop of Colombo
Sri Lanka, and His Excellency Msgr. Germano Penemote,
Apostolic Nuncio🇻🇦 in Pakistan, at his residence in the Islamabad to discuss ways to enhance cooperation. During the meeting, the Grand M***i emphasized that the need for interfaith dialogue and solidarity, which is an impenetrable wall, had a detailed discussion to promote interfaith and intercultural harmony within and across the borders. Both sides expressed their commitments to engage the key stakeholders for the promotion of peace and tolerance as a joint venture. On this occasion, Honorable Archbishop Rev. Joseph Arshad, Bishop of Islamabad & Rawalpindi, were also present.
