"A World United Against Nuclear Nightmares"

On a day of reckoning, we stand as one,
Against the horrors of nuclear testing, forever done.
Since 1945, over 2,000 tests have scarred the earth,
Leaving devastation, death, and a legacy of dearth.
In the past, ignorance blinded us to the fate,
Of those affected, and the dangers that await,
But hindsight screams of tragedy and pain,
And the terrifying power of nuclear arms in vain.
Today, we know the truth, and it's time to act,
To secure our common future, and forever react,
Against the forces that seek to destroy and harm,
And embrace disarmament, to keep our world from alarm.
The agenda is clear, the path is set,
To end nuclear testing, and forever forget,
The tragic consequences, the health problems, the strife,
And work towards peace, and a nuclear-free life.
Let us speak with one voice, and make it loud and clear,
That nuclear testing must end, and never reappear,
For the sake of humanity, for the future we hold dear,
Let us unite, and banish nuclear nightmares, forever and always near.
