The Foundation is a culmination of the efforts of two decades of relentlessly serving the visually impaired, underprivileged segments of society. On a subsidized or free-of-cost basis while maintaining high service standards.

We started as a Welfare Association in 2003 which morphed into Vision Trust in 2009.

We are now registered/ licensed with the Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) as Vision Healthcare Foundation, a Company under section 42 of the Companies Act 2017.

According to the Pakistan Population Census 2017, the population of Attock district is 1.9 Million. Pindi Gheb Tehsil has a population of about 272,000. As many as 27 million people in Pakistan may be living with disabilities, both intellectual and physical. Stigma is prevalent throughout the country, which results in invisible communities of people isolated from society and a culture of segregation from early education. It is estimated that Pakistan loses between 4.9 and 6.3 per cent of GDP annually through these policies.
