Funded by UK aid, the Food Fortification Programme aims to improve nutrition for people in Pakistan, particularly women of child bearing age and children. This will be achieved through sustainably improving access to and consumption of wheat flour fortified with iron and folic acid and edible oil/ghee fortified with Vitamins A&D. The programme has been established to support the goal of accelerating food fortification in Pakistan’s public and private sectors.
