On 8th March, we celebrated Women’s Day at DJ YDC Islamabad to appreciate the strength, courage, and invaluable contributions of women in our society. The event was beautifully organized by the girls, creating a space to recognize and honor the power, resilience, and potential of women.

The program featured a thought-provoking drama that highlighted how an educated girl can bring positive change to society and play a vital role in shaping a better future. In addition, participants presented heartfelt poetry as a tribute to women, celebrating their resilience, dreams, and achievements.

The event served as a meaningful reminder that when women are empowered through education and confidence, they become a powerful force for positive change in society. 💜✨

During the blessed month of Ramadan, SHAD Foundation sincerely thanks Mr. & Mrs. Takbir Hussain, owners of Towcheen Restaurant , for kindly inviting the beneficiaries of the Youth Development Center (YDC) and the SHAD Foundation 's management team for Iftar and dinner.

Their warm hospitality provided a memorable experience for our students and staff and truly reflected the spirit of Ramadan, generosity, compassion, and community support.

Consultant Needed: 3-Day Girls’ Empowerment Camp
SHAD Foundation, in collaboration with Good Neighbors, is organizing a 3-day Youth camp for young girls aged 15–28
We are seeking a highly professional consultant to:
✅Develop a comprehensive manual highlighting the key focus areas: Self-Awareness, Resilience, Leadership, Career Counseling, Mental Health, Social Responsibility, Entrepreneurship development, Climate Change mitigation, Hygiene, and Volunteerism.
✅This manual will serve as a guidebook for all activities and sessions to be conducted during the 3-day youth camp.
✅The manual will be developed in context to Chitral. (Consultant should have good understanding of the challenges faced by female youth in Chitral.)
✅Draft pre & post assessments
✅Support in drafting a selection criterion for participants
✅Conduct engaging sessions during 3-day residential camp based on the manual.
Location: Chitral (Upper/Lower)
Expected Dates for camp: Mid of April 2026
Compensation: Yes
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for proposal submission.
