Job Title: Taekwondo Instructor
Program: SHAD Foundation β Youth Character & Leadership Academy

Location: Chitral
Reporting To: Program/Project Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct regular Taekwondo training sessions for children and youth in alignment with the programβs objectives.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate training plans covering Taekwondo techniques, Poomsae, physical fitness, and self-defense.
- Maintain discipline and foster a safe, inclusive, respectful, and positive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of participantsβ attendance, performance, and progress.
- Organize and support grading examinations, demonstrations, competitions, and other sports-related activities.
- Ensure the proper use, care, storage, and maintenance of all training equipment.
- Coordinate effectively with program staff and submit periodic training and activity reports as required.
- Promote discipline, teamwork, self-confidence, respect, and leadership among participants.
- Perform any other relevant duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Recognized Taekwondo certification or Dan grade issued by an established Taekwondo organization.
- A degree in Health and Physical Education (HPE) or a related field will be preferred.
- Ex-servicemen with experience as Physical Training Instructors (PTIs) may also be considered.
- Demonstrated communication, coaching, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of sports safety procedures and first aid will be considered an advantage.
Experience
- A minimum of 2β3 years of relevant professional experience as a Taekwondo Instructor or Physical Training Instructor.
- Prior experience working with children and youth is preferred.
- Previous experience in community-based initiatives or youth development programs will be considered an advantage.

Selection Criteria:
Candidates will be assessed based on their relevant qualifications, Taekwondo or physical training experience, practical coaching abilities, communication skills, and suitability for working with children and youth.
